Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 51Very nice, but don't get stuck on the 2nd floor
I booked this hotel several weeks in advance and was given a room on the 2nd floor. I didn't think anything of it until they booked a small party in the Bridleman meeting room which was next to my room. Once that ended I was treated to the bar music underneath my room.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 51Excellent Location, Terrific Value
The location is as good as it gets in Big D. I don't think it can be beat for the money, at least based on what I paid. Mandatory valet seems a little goofy, and charging double digits for daily Internet is a little overpriced in this day and age, but other than that you can't go wrong with this one.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 51Nice Hotel, watch for extra's
Love the hotel, exceptional staff, crushing extras. The parking was 22.00 per day and the internet was 12.00. They even added a delivery fee on the room service and a server fee. What room service have you ever ordered that was not going to be delivered? Overall, everything else was just fine. I would stay again even with the fees. Maybel I'm helping the national debt in some small way with some of these "fees". Still overall great.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 51great renovation
the melrose has been updated significantly. the rooms are very nice, and the location is also quite good. However, i do beleive that for $179 per night, they should at least give you free internet and one free bottle of water. this nickel and dime stuff is for the birds.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 51Only one complaint
I thought the hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised, however, at the fact you had to pay to use the internet almost $12 a day!

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 51Good Value
Great value overall. Good location for what we needed. Didn't seem to have in-hotel convenience store... my only complaint. Razors (what I needed from the Convenience Store) that were supplied were probably the worse I've ever used.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 51Old Time Quality
This gracious hotel has caring, gracious, and attentive staff. Very comfortable rooms. Great bathrooms. The Library Bar is very comfortable and comforting. The dining room is outstanding. All of the services do come with a significant price, but if you need to be cared for for a day or two, this is the place

noise from traffic on streets, bath faucet was dripping water, desk lamp was out, electrical extension cord was not connected, valet parking only for $20, no free guest parking, charge for Internet access.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 51Impeccable Hotel
What a pleasure to stay at the Warwick Melrose! Even with the high-end decor & furnishings, it was an extremely welcoming and comfortable place. The rooms were large and clean with great attention to detail. The beds were fantastically comfortable with great mattress & high-end TC bedding. My room was quiet to inside noise, but the street noise was my alarm clock the next morning. The hotel food was delicious. There were professionals as well as families, and close to downtown Dallas to enjoy all the local entertainment spots.
