Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 51Great Home Base for Exploring Toronto
The hotel lived up to all of our expectations. It is centrally located in Toronto - close to great shopping (Eaton Centre) -- and within a short walk of theaters, restaurants, and other points of interest. The staff gave us great recommendations for places to have dinner and clear directions along the way. Everyone at the hotel was quite friendly and nice. While the room was smaller than a typical American hotel, it was sufficient space for us as we spent most of our time walking around the city. We were only 10-15 minutes walking time away from CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market (highly recommended!) and other areas of the city.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 51Excellent value for the money
The best thing about the hotel is the location, its at the heart of downtown. The condition of the room is excellent, the only down side is the internet wireless signal is very weak. If internet access is a requirement, you might to check with the front desk to put you in a room thats closer to the wireless router.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 51Mixed thoughts
First room that I received was terrible- humid, hot, really narrow and couldn't even get luggage into the room. I complained and was upgraded to a room that was on par with what I paid. PROS: Molton Brown bath products, good quality buffet breakfast ($14 per person for hotel guests), one block from Eaton Centre. CONS: $21/night for parking, bathroom has zero counter space and could use upgrading, no gift shop even though there are signs to a gift shop, no concierges service, not very nice front desk people.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 51Outstanding service
During a very busy Film Festival weekend the reception area staff was extremely helpful and always went above and beyond. The room was a little dark and the duvet was weird, but I would go back there for the festival next year.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 51Not exactly luxury but good all things considered.
The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Toronto across the street from City Hall and a short walk from Yonge Street. Hotel parking is for cars and small trucks only, however there is a 24 hour lot next door that is quite reasonably priced. Rooms are very small and my entertainment center was broken. The television looked to be about a 20' and was an absolute joke. Overall it was very economical and I would stay again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 51Room Problem
While my room was fine, my friends room was a nightmare. Smoke smell and urine in the bed - absolutely ridiculous.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 51Gorgeous at first.....
but, the room was small and congested. The pool was not available, which was the only reason I booked at this location. It was $4.00 for a glass of OJ, $7.00 for a bowl of oatmeal, $14.00 for a continental breakfast which consisted of bread, cheese, and fruit. I was very disappointed. Next time, I would book at a well known hotel and drive to the downtown area. Which reminds me, parking was $22.00 per night. I would have killed to find the Marriot or Hampton!
