They moved us to an affiliated hotel next door, the Indigo Hotel. It was amazing, clean, modern, great bathroom. The room itself was a bit small...but so close to the underground and great access to circle and bakerloo lines. Front desk staff were very pleasant!

Due to getting no sleep on the flight over like we had hoped, we arrived in London at 8 a.m. ready to just sleep. We went to our hotel, fully prepared to pay an extra night if it meant we could just check in then (9 a.m. by this point), and instead, the desk person was wonderfully helpful and asked if we could wait 15 minutes in the lobby. That way, they would have our room ready at no extra charge, a full 5 hours before normal check-in time. We were delighted. The room was quite comfortable, great bed and amenities...small, but that is to be expected. Location is IDEAL, as it is right next to the Paddington station, which will take you about anywhere. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone wanting to go to London.

Location Location Location. Just across the street from Paddington in a great part of London. Tube station entrance adjacent and from there all of London is close by. Stayed two nights and it was very quiet. Overall a great value.

why drag your bags all over town when you can get off the express from airport, and then use paddington station on the circle line for tourism

The entrance to Paddington station is just outside the hotel. Extremely convenient for accessing all parts of London and the airports. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms are small as to be expected.

The Quality Crown Hotel Paddington has many fine qualities. Since being taken into the Quality Hotel chain, the hotel has been beautifully remodeled, top to bottom, and the decor is stylish and tasteful. Hotel personnel are helpful and courteous. Prices, for London, seem appropriate. And its location adjacent to Paddington Station and in a good neighborhood is a real asset Many of the rooms are extremely tiny, but the remodeling has made the best use of available space. Heating on the lower floors is good - too good at times - but some of the top floor rooms may not warm up as much as guests would like. Before its change in ownership, the hotel provided a very nice continental breakfast in a downstairs room. That room has now become a lounge, and meals are now available in the next-door Garfunkles Restaurant. Sometimes you get a breakfast voucher - sometimes not. Our Hotels.com reservation provided no vouchers for the first three-day stay, but they were provided for a slightly later two-day stay. Mystifyingly inconsistent. This is a clean, comfortable, pleasant property, and I recommend it if the price offered seems good.
