Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 21Great Location
Super, great location at Paddington Station where you can catch the "Underground" to anywhere in the city and the train to the airport (LHR). The room was small but clean and the hotel staff was friendly. There are a several fast food restaurants and local pubs nearby. I would stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 21The smallest room I've ever checked in
Is there any way to make the room bigger?

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 21Convenient Location
TINY rooms, but very clean and recently renovated. The location (right next to Paddington Station) was very convenient, but the neighborhood wasn't very exciting.

Great hotel and great location. Hotel was next to Paddington Station and surprisingly there was no train noise at all in the room itself. Was allowed to check in a couple hours early and front desk was extremely helpful. Had a problem with the TV but it was fixed the same day. Room with King Bed was a little small/tight but was expected for a European hotel. Will defiantly stay again the next time I'm in London.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 21Perfect Location
This is the perfect location if you are planning on taking the Heathrow Express. We had an early morning flight so we checked out of the hotel were staying at in Mayfair and checked into this hotel just for the night. We had to catch the 5:15am Heathrow Express and the location was perfect. Literally right across the street from Paddington. The only downside was that the room was a little loud. It was a beautiful night so we wanted to leave the window open, but it was way too lound. Also, you have to pay per day to watch the TV - not just movies. Not a big deal though. Who wants to watch TV while in London anyway!

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 21Lackluster Hotel
I booked this hotel based primarily on the previous reviews. We ended up switching rooms after the first night. We had paid for a room with a king-size bed in it. However, a UK king-size is different from a US King-size (and the matress we were given was slightly smaller than a UK king-size). Around the bed, there was space to walk (which is all we really needed). When we discussed our concerns with the perpetually unhelpful manager, he first stated that he could do nothing about it. Later, my husband requested a "technical downgrade" where the manager put us in a room with two twin beds and put the beds together (this equals the size of a US king). The room itself was considerably larger. The proximity to Paddington station was nice (we bought unlimited use daily tube tickets) but the distance from everything else was troublesome (if we came back in the early evening, if was difficult to go back out again given the necessary commute). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 21Great location
I chose this hotel for its location to Paddington Station as well as its reviews. The hotel staff were nice and the room was well decorated and clean, albeit a little small (no place to leave your suitcases). I have one huge negative and that is regarding the mattress. It was obviously a very old spring mattress and you could feel each spring and it appeared to slope to one side. We will definitely stay there again. It was the perfect location and Garfunkels Restaurant was on the ground floor. Who sleeps when you're visiting London anyway?

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 21Room does not fit Price
Although the hotel was beautifully renovated and well situated in the heart of London and train access, the price was simply too much for a seemingly "closet size" room. With the king bed even a single person struggled to open a suitcase.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 21Better than expected!
Extremely convenient to Paddington Rail and Tube station - great if you have an early morning flight out - the rumble of the trains is more pleasant than annoying. Very clean room and nicely decorated room - not very large but laid out well. Bathroom modern and plenty of room, attractive. Good value for London - don't expect US prices in London and you will be very happy with this hotel!

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 21Excellent quality and service - affordable price
Loved the hotel! Everything is brand new, contemporary and clean. Lounge downstairs was a nice touch - space to spread out, have a drink and watch TV outside of the small room. The staff was extremely helpful as we navigated our next destination via London's Tube system. They even went above and beyond to print out directions for our walk from the station! Walls are thin and the train rumbles loudly. Room is tiny but efficiently designed. Bed is small but very comfy. Highly recommend for light packers and short trips.

It was a great hotel in a great location and it was very tastefully re-done with much attention to detail.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 21Great room for the money
I loved this hotel! The room was comfortable, larger than I expected, and newly renovated. The bathroom was clean & beautiful, with all new tiles, and good water pressure in the shower. There was a flat screen television so I could stay current with news, and watch late night shows from bed. Towels were changed and the bed made up each morning in a timely manner. The staff was courteous, efficient, and helped out with the few questions we had ( dinner spots, etc.) Oh! And location is key-- right next to the subway, and buses passing right out front for late night! I couldn't have been happier!
