Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 16Great hotel for tourists
This hotel is ideally situated for tourists but not for those who are looking for an "authentic" London neighborhood. However, it is very close to a major tube stop, Paddington and makes travel into (via Heathrow Express) and around the city easy. Hotel is modern and very clean, staff is very helpful. The room is extremely small but this is to be expected in Europe.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 16Exceptional
Second time I have stayed there on business from the US and I would stay there for vacation too. Rooms are smaller than what one might be use to in the US, but that stands to reason! They are far from too small. I travel solo for business and it suits my needs perfectly, when we return in December I see no reason why the room I had would not work out fine for my wife and I. Staff are ALWAYS willing to help and I have already referred numerous folks including the people I sat next to on the flight home. Very well done!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 16Paddington Quality Inn rocks!
This hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is located next door to the Paddington train and tube stop as well as good nearby restaurants and shopping. The room was a bit bigger than normal London fare-well worth the price!

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 16Can't beat the location
Sitting right next to Paddington Station, a quick trip from Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express, the Quality Crown is clean, comfortable, and convenient. There is a Garfunkels attached, making warm breakfasts easy to come by and well stocked, if compact gym on the 2nd floor. The cleaning staff were thorough and the accommodations modern. All in all, a very good experience, particularly for business travelers.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 16Great location (for me at least)
So I travel to/from the USA->UK->IRELAND and back. For me this hotel is right NEXT to Paddington station. Great location because it's near a few good pubs (for dinner/lunch), next to Paddington so I can get to the Heathrow Express within 2 minutes and I can also get to the London Underground. It may be considered a little noisy for some people, but I slept fine. I'm a light sleeper and it worked for me.

Very good location as it is close to paddington station... place is clean, but the rooms are very small and the mattress was very uncomfortable...

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 16Convenient location for underground
The best thing about this hotel is its location next to Paddington Station. If you fly to Heathrow, the Paddington Express gets you from Heathrow to the station in about 15 minutes. It is a very short walk to the hotel that invloves nothing difficult to navigate. Several tube lines go through Paddington, making it easy to get around London. The rooms are clean, but small. The bathroom is also small, but it has the basics. The fitness center is adequate. There are several dining options within a block, including an attached restaurant and bar and steak place across the corner. McDonald's is next door and Burger King across the street. If size does not matter, then this is a great place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 16Comfortable and easy to access
For someone who is on the go, in town for meetings, or a bit of vacation, this hotel was a good value. The room was small but offered a firm bed, powerful shower and attractive decoration. The staff was helpful and pleasant, and made the stay easy. The onlly downside to this trip was the size of the room doesn't make it acceptible to having more than one person in it, and the tv offers few channels. Since I was on a business trip, the tv wassn't as important as the size. I had one meeting in the room and it was impossible.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 16Clean, new hotel in great transit location
The Quality Crown Hotel Paddington is a very clean hotel with rooms decorated within the past year or so. Dark woods complement the small, high-end bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. The staff was friendly and helped with minor requests. The rooms have a minibar stocked with mini goodies. There is a workout room which has brand new equipment -- a universal station, treadmill, elliptical, and recumbent bike. I did not visit the lounge nor Garfunkel's restaurant so I cannot comment on them, although both looked clean. While my room was very quiet, one could feel/hear the rumble of the Tube, located 5-6 floors below. This was not an issue as the Tube does not run after 11:30 PM. I understand that the regular rooms are fairly small -- the staff was nice enough to upgrade me and the executive room was sufficient in size. I would recommend reserving the larger room.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 16Postage size room, with subway rumbles
My room was minute, not much bigger than a train compartment, an impression reinforced by the constant rumble of subway trains going bye underneath. The location is great if you want a minimal walk from Paddington Station, but the ambiance is a bit sleazy. Not one of my better business travel experiences, and not to be recommended for vacationers.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 16Very Convenient
Located adjacent to the Paddington Underground station, this hotel was extremely easy to get to. The neighborhood didn't have very much to offer, but with quick access to anywhere else in the city via Tube, this didn't really matter. The room itself was roomy, comfortable, and modern. There were trains passing quite close by and you could hear (and feel) them, but they stopped in the evening and so I was never disturbed at night. There was a decent working area, though of course Internet access is an extra charge. Well-equipped exercise room, too. Yes, the elevator is quite chatty. There are a few pubs and a Garfunkel's, a McDonald's, and a Burger King in the immediate neighborhood for quick bites.
