Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 60ugh
horrible hotel...in need of major repairs...the beds were uncomfortable, the room smelled, the carpets were soaking wet and they gave us two double beds instead of a king.

The only thing I was unhappy with the water from the faucet was coming out dirty. I was concerned about using it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 60Hotel isn't as bad as the reviews say!!
Overall the cleanliness of the room in the Claridge Tower is pretty good. The bathroom is extremely small and could be updated but the room is very clean. The reviews on here are really bad from people about the Claridge Tower but don't listen to them all, must be alot of snotty people that stay there. We wouldn't go back in October... not much to do or see except gamble all your money away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 60Our stay
Hotel employees were very friendly and the help of the parking valets' were exceptional. After realizing we left a couple of items in our car we returned to the valet area...no problem...a valet graciously went to our car and retrieved what we needed. One downfall was the daily fee of $12.95 to use the wireless service..the fee was per day not per stay...quite excessive, definitely felt like "nickle & diming".

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 60Bally's Exceeding ALL our Expectations !!!
Based upon reviews we read, we weren't expecting luxury hotel accommodations - which was fine with us as we were more interested in staying at a reputable hotel in a convenient location. We were placed in a room in the Bally's Tower and it was outstanding !!! I could have spent the entire stay in the huge bath tub alone! We were curious about the "Claridge Tower" rooms because we heard they were so bad. We were given the opportunity to see a couple of these rooms (housekeeping staff let us peek, LOL), and they were beautiful, too. I don't understand the less than stellar reviews for this hotel (and I'm a clean freak with high standards). Staff was wonderful, casinos were a blast, all amenities top notch. We can't wait to go again!!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 60Great hotel, but cost too much and very confusing.
This hotel is way too big for my liking. We tried to park by the lobby and check-in, but they wouldn't let us so we had to search for parking or do valet (which we didn't want to do). The bell hop took our bags, but never gave us a ticket number even though they said they did and then were a little rude to us when we said we never got one. We weren't told where to go at first so it took a minute to figure out where the lobby was (it is not labeled on the elevators). There are different elevators going to different parts of the same floor for the rooms. Very confusing. There aren't many bathrooms on the casino floor. The room was beautiful and immaculate. We paid $400 after tax to get lost half the night. I'd rather stay at something smaller so you're not walking around half the night getting back and forth from the room to the casino.
