Nice hotel for the price

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the suite--it had a large bedroom and living room, a full dining area, a full kitchen and a huge bathroom (with 2 toilets, a shower and a soaking tub). The furnishings were a little dated but fine except for the pull-out bed, which was unusable. Fortunately, the kids slept comfortably on the floor with just the mattress... The pool and tennis courts were fun, especially at night (we visited in July), although the pool area could have used more lighting. The staff was a real plus--always pleasant and helpful. It was also nice to have underground parking so the car didn't bake in the Palm Springs heat!

Great place for the family - very large rooms

The hotel furniture was very worn and outdated, and some appliances were a little outdated. However, the rooms are quite spacious. I also loved the location of the hotel, it was a three minute walk to the main street(shopping and dining). I give the front desk staff an A+. All in all, not bad, rates were very reasonable!

Very large and clean room

Great room with full kitchen, living area and bedroom. The bathroom was large with separate bath and shower areas and Large vanity. Our room also had a fireplace (didn't use) and an outside patio area for our room with two round tables and chairs. Very nice for morning coffee time. Great.

humongous room in the heart of downtown

we will definitely stay here every time we come to palm springs. kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, one with a big soaking tub, walk in closet, fireplace--more like a one bedroom apartment than just a hotel room. staffers are real nice too. got to go into museum on free passes for afternoon. can't wait to come back to the marquis

Nice stay for the price...

The stay was great, I really enjoyed the hotel.. The rooms are really big, great size kitchen.. The appliances/electronics are out dated but that was not a big deal. I would highly recommend the Marquis Villas Resort

palm springs bargain

our room was HUGE...full kitchen made snack and breakfast convenient....2 blocks to main streets....tennis courts, pool and jacuzzi all kept brand new condition...only drawback (minor) was somewhat dated room
