Good room for the money

This hotel met my needs fine. It was not very fancy by any means, and did smell a little funny, but the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The free airport shuttle was very convenient, as I used it several times. The pool was closed for reconstruction during my visit so I did not get the opportunity to see it. The fitness room was small and had a limited amout of equipment, but satisfactory for a short hotel stay. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and some fruit. Staff was very nice and allowed me to stay 2 hours after my scheduled check out since I had a late flight leaving St. Louis. Hotel is very close to airport. There aren't many restaurants or anything else nearby though. I would stay here again.

Nice for the Price

Room was nice and came with mini-fridge. The pool was closed, internet was slow and they ran out of breakfast one morning because they had a family reunion of over 300 guest staying there. Other than that this hotel was worth the price.

Watch out for double dipping

This hotel will get paid by hotels.com then also bill your credit card for the room again. Be careful and keep an eye out for this.

OK as a stop-over

99 Degrees in the city but the hotel's A/C was not on in the lobby or the halls, making the elevator ride to the room nearly a sweat box. A/C worked fine in the room so once it cooled down in there, all was well. I was looking for a place to crash on a road trip, not looking for amenities, so for the money, I can't complain. Lady at the front desk at check in was great. Lady at the front desk was nice but when I asked for a check-out reciept she told me she had no idea what I paid and to use the on-line confirmation as a rec't. OK. So - hit and miss on the guest service, but overall - fine. Wouldn't stay here if I was on vacation or had the family with me - but it is a step up from the better Economy hotels.

Needs Improvement

Because of the extension of the airport a wall constructed prohibits easy access to the hotel. It's an old hotel and not maintained very well. On site restaurant was not opened.

Great room for the money

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greated with great service at the check in. Very friendly. Our room was much larger and equipted better than we expected. We found staffs to be very friendly and the service good. The pool is something else, you want to spend the day there. The continental breakfast was good, everything you could ask for even for the diet conscious person. We will stay at the Ramada again. Great price, Great service, and great room, what else could you ask for.

Service was friendly, room was clean

The hotel was near the airport, it took only 5 minutes. The service was friendly and when we got to our room. They did allow us to park & fly, and the shuttle took less than 5 minutes to pick us up from the airport.

Great indoor heated pool

I just saw a review for this hotel says they do not have swimming pool. But I do enjoy swimming in heated indoor pool plus sauna... funny. They do have great swimming pool in the back I can tell.
