Sheraton Sports Complex

Excellent Facility and it offers convenience to many other locations in the Kansas City Area. The free meals tickets were a welcome plus! Parking was excellent! The staff was also very kind and considerate and very helpful during our family reunion. I look forward to returning again.

Nice hotel and it does have a shuttle that runs to the local sports stadiums.

nice, near Arrowhead

This is a great place to stay if you are going to a game at either ballpark. They had a free shuttle to the Chiefs game. My daughter enjoyed the pool and weight room. We did not use the water park that is attached but it looked great for little kids. The elevator to our 5th floor room was difficult to catch for a ride down. And our room was very cold even though I turned the heat up to 85.

Restrauant Quality

My Rueben sandwich and french fries came to me barely warm. The bread was hard and crusty, I had to ask for more dressing. We waited for a long time for food to come and to get our change back. Hotel was in a great location to stay for the NFL football game. Really appreciated the shuttle to and from the game. Would stay there again.

"Decent Hotel for the Price"

We stayed at this hotel for its location: close to the sports complex. The room was clean and well maintained. However, the shuttle service to the game was always full: we ended up taking a taxi. Also, lots of very loud fans at the hotel.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. I asked to be moved to a different room away form the ice machine and they quickly honored my request. The only slight downside was the breakfast buffet; good but not great.

GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE

We stayed here when we went to the Kansas City Royals game. This hotel is a stones throw away. Its a 10 minute walk - 3 blocks TOP. Walk out the parking lot - across the pedestrian bridge over the interstate and you are in the parking lot. VERY CONVENIENT. Also, the hotel was very clean and very nice. Room was comfortable with a nice flat screen tv, good bathroom, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and nice shades. Business Center in the lobby gave free internet on multiple computers helping me catch up on work in the morning. Very nice and friendly front desk. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! GREAT LOCATION FOR A GAME!!!

Perfect if you are going to the ballpark as we were but otherwise expensive on taxi fares to get anywhere else in Kansas City.

Overrated!

First of all, the hotel advertises itself as "across from the Sports Stadiums." Our assumption was that (like in our hometown of Seattle, you cross the street, and you're there. Well that's fine as long as you realize that the "street" is I-70, and you have to take a shuttle. The internet service, which is free at many hotels, costs $5.95 per day, and is very bad and slow. Some e-mails with attachments could not be sent! Service in the restaurant was atrocious. We waited an hour for our food. There were no alternatives except a Denny's nearby.

Great Experience

My daughter and 2 little ones had a great experience at the Sheraton. The room was very clean and well appointed. It was very convenient having the resturants and coffee shop in the building. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the Waterpark. I will definately stay there again.

Bad Neighborhood but a nice hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, police were there investigating a string of car break ins in the hotel parking lot. I saw many cars with their windows shattered and glass all over the place. I overheard someone state that at least eight vehicles got broken into in the parking lot. The inside of the hotel was very nice. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. We picked this hotel for the location near the Royal's Stadium. I recommend this hotel, but advise you not to leave anything of value in your vehicle.
