Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 23Second Time in a Month and Very Pleased
The first time we stayed at this hotel we were extremely satisfied with the accommodation - A month later we went back and realized it was not a coincidence. Staff is very pleasant and happy to please the guests - Breakfast is incredible and the staff in charge stays busy taking care of everyone with a pleasant smile in their face - We'll be back!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 23Better than I expected
The hotel is clean, the location is very central to all of the parks and entertainment, The staff was well trained and helpful. The breakfast was nothing special but ok. I was really very happy with my overall experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it over many hotels much more expensive.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 23Not great
The elevator in the hotel smell like mold. Inside my non smoking room, the bathroom reeked of smoke. The rest of the room was fine. The breakfast didn't have much to choose from. I would not recommend to a friend.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 23Very Good, Could easily get better.
The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. They had only plain creamer, no flavors for the coffee. The guest laundry was small and one of the washer's was broken, which was inconvenient. The wireless internet worked great.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 23Excellent hotel
This is an excellent Business hotel. Rooms are large, clean and the staff is excellent. The water presure for the shower is average, it can always be stronger as far as I am concerned. The beds are average. I am very picky intheis area, as I do not sleep well in 90% of beds. The water taste quaility in Florida is just bad over-all! There is far, far too much sodium in the water in Florida. One can smell the sodium the moment the shower is turned on or the tap. Is sodium is an issue for you, I strongley suggest bottled water, always no metter where you are.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 23Great for families or long-term stay
The hotel is starting to show it's age, but some upgrades have been made and are noticeable. Although not new, it was as clean as possible considering the age of rugs etc. The full size refrigerator and kitchen were a great surprise and although we didn't have much use for it except sodas and wine in the frig, it was nice to have the option of not going out to eat for every meal. The breakfast buffet was much better during the week then it was on the weekend but the variety was pretty good considering the length of our stay. I don't think you could find a better deal in the area. For what we paid and for as much time as we spent in the room (which was larger than I expected), it was a great deal.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 23Good hotel but I expected better
Great suites with plenty of amenities including kitchenettes, 2 TVs with cable, free wireless internet, free breakfast, free beer/wine in the afternoon, business center, exercise room and free parking. What I did not like: rooms not cleaned until late in the afternoon (~ 4 PM), printer in Business Center ran out of ink. I informed the manager on the 2nd day of my stay and on th 5th day it had not been replaced, not all of the equipment in the exercise room was functional and water/towels were not provided, and the breakfast was OK but not always good (e.g., corned beef hash using canned corned beef!). For the price I paid the hotel was good, but I expected better from Hawthorn Suites.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 23Versitle and welcoming hotel
This was a great hotel and I can see using it for different reasons in the furture. I was there on busienss this trip and it was welcome to have the free and might I add extremely fast wireless internet as well as the quick breakfast int he evening, and lets not forget the opportunity to unwind with the welcome happy hour each evening. I could easily see using this hotel for a family trip to the orlando area as well. The single kind was fine for a business traveler or couple, but I would definitely trade up to a 2 bed suite if you bring kids. I could see more then 5 days with a bunch of kids feeling a little cramped... but don't get me wrong an excellent deal. The only reason for the 4's on my review was some painting that was happening on the first floor and the smell. Also the hall ways could use a little lower setting on the AC becuase they were a little warm. didn't get to use the pool or fitness center, but they looked nice.

Large rooms for the money. Nice new place with good pool for kids. Breakfast is very minimal, however.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 23Great stay
I've stayed at this hotel several times and really like the completely separate bedroom. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The only negative comment is that the free breakfast area is too small for the number of guests. Overall though, great value for the money.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 23Surprise
When I checked into the hotel, I was actually surprised by their suite plus bed room layout(which was not even advertised). They had a spatious living room and a separate bed room. Both living room and bed rooms had nice sized TV's (2nd surprise). They even had a decent kitchen (3rd surprise), with a microwave, stove top and a bigger than usual size Refrigirator. Definitely worth for the money. Will definitely go back there if the price remains the same.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 23Good experience overall
The hotel had its good and bad points, but it was definitely good overall. The room was basically a mid-size one-bedroom apartment - full kitchen with small dining area both in the same large room (size of most entire hotel rooms I've been in) as the living room area, and then a separate bedroom, sink room, and toilet/bath room. The things in the room were decent quality too - not lavish, but not slop. The breakfast was decent - buffet-style things with reasonable selection (especially for free). They also had a fairly nice (outdoor) pool and little basketball court. There was a small bar too, with a happy hour every day that had free beer and wine. Nothing fancy in any of those areas, but solid and well worth the price.
