No complaints! Would definitely stay again.

I really can't think of anything negative to say! The price was very reasonable, the decor classy and modern, and the room was similar to a normal "non-NYC" hotel room in size. The concierge was extremely helpful each time we had a question. In fact, all of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We will stay here for sure the next time we visit NYC. Thanks for a very pleasant stay!

Great Hotel

The hotel was above what we expected as our first NY trip. The location was excellent, close to subway, central park, and restaurants. (Chirping Chicken and Pink Berry is 1 block from hotel is excellent) The only negatives would be the tile in the shower was grimy and the elevator was broken often during our stay. Great hotel in a really nice neighborhood!

Great Location

Attractive, sizeable room; comfortable bed; attractive bathroom (could have used a towel rack for wet towels); friendly staff; fantastic location: walk to Lincoln Center and Central Park, shop at Fairway, lots of interesting restaurants.

room view and size

I reserved a "superior" room that was to be larger than the standard room. The room was only slightly larger than the bed itself and even though I paid a premium price the room was located in an apartment shaft facing other apartment windows. The room was changed on the 2nd night to a room with a view. The size was also very tight. I can't imagine what the size would be for a "standard" room.

Great room for the money.

People were very friendly. The room was cozy, but perfect. The neighborhood is new York's best with restaurants all over and Central Park and Riverside Park two blocks east and west. Subway very convenient. This is the New York New Yorkers know.

Great Hotel! Dont Drive!

The hotel was amazing and it was such a good price... for a reason. If you happen to bring a car, find a garage from a third party. its 55 dollars a night plus an 18 percent tax for anything bigger than a mini, and if you forgot something in the car, have fun walking about 20 blocks to the garage.

Great place to stay

Loved the neighborhood. It was convenient and easy to figure out how to get around the city from there.

If you are interested in staying in a hotel that is close to Central Park and in a great neighborhood, this is the one for you!

Its was 50/50

The price was reasonable. I arrived a bit early and they did give me a room but it was a handicapped room and that made me uncomfortable. I also requested a change of room and did not rcv it.

Tough parking

Not much in the way of parking if you don't want to pay the $50 valet charge. If you don't plan on leaving after check-in valet is the way to go. But, if your planning on going somewhere in your vehicle after check-in...not so much because you can't get your car back until you check out. Or, pay the $50 valet charge again.

welfare hotel on the avenue

We paid for an upgrade to superior room. The room we got was tiny and facing a wall. There was a very smelly and poorly groomed resident in the elevator, making us think that some of the rooms were rented to homeless through a specialized New York City program. The room was very shabby and not particularly clean, but, funny enough, had a flat screen TV.
