Great service, bathroom cramped

The Hotel Vintage Park has a very convenient location and a friendly and professional staff. Our bathroom was not intuitively designed and the room itself had a rather strange layout but it was quiet and comfortable. They could use more storage space in the bathroom and more hangers in the closet. We had a hard time regulating the room temperature and the bed could have used an optional blanket rather than just the down comforter. Also, even though we followed the directions to prevent our towels from being laundered every day in an attempt to conserve resources, they were changed every day regardless. Overall it was a good experience but the hotel could use a little more attention to the above sorts of details to be really impressive.

It Was Mostly Good

We booked a King Premier Room for last weekend and it was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The service was outstanding and we walked nearly everywhere we needed to go. However, for the price, I did expect more. I would not pay that rate again for the Vintage Park. There were just minor details that would have made it better. For the price, I expected the room to have a few extra touches, like a second phone. There was only one phone in the room, which was nowhere near the beds so it made it inconvenient to call for room service from bed in the morning or for valet to bring our cars. There was also no stereo or MP3 player hookup. CDs would need to be played through the DVD player using the TV speakers which aren't that great. There is NO Dresser! No place at all to put your clothes, only about seven hangers in the closet. And the bathroom was so small that the door missed hitting the toilet by about half an inch. The shower head had no water pressure, you need to stand directly under it. Despite those things, it was still a comfy stay, just not worth hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for one night. Great place to stay if you can find it on sale. There are better hotels available for the same price.

Wonderful staff

Not only was the room extremely comfortable, the staff was more than accommodating with all of our requests.
