Hotel Vintage Park - a Kimpton Hotel

Great price, great place

With a one night stay, I was able to confirm the other great reviews. The hotel was clean, updated, conveniently located, and well staffed. The rooms were well appointed and we had no complaints. The relatively low price compared to some other local hotels made me skeptical that "something had to give". But, if there was a difference between this hotel and another one with a higher price, I couldn't figure it out.

We were very happy with the service we received at the hotel, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. If youre going to be walking wear comfortable shoes. It's a good 15 to 20 minute walk to Pike Market and Alaska Way. The hotel is great, we were extremely pleased. You won't be dissapointed.

Great room, right downtown,and the Tulio's was awesome!

Good downtown hotel

Nicely appointed room, good size, good downtown location. Walkable to Pike's Market but not to Center City/Space Needle area. Service/atmosphere was good. I just wish that the valet parking was complimentary. It is in a location where it is difficult to find parking.

Okay hotel

Initially, they gave me a room that was different from what I had reserved. I needed a 2 bed room so my son could visit. That was quickly resolved. Once in the room, later in the day, I tried to order room service but got no response on the phone. I could not access any of the premium features on the tv. No movies, no internet access, nothing but teh basic local stations. I tried to call the front desk and the phone did not connect. I could not connect to any of the service numbers. I went to the front desk to make a complaint and they told me that the phones were new (they didn't look new) and they were having problems, they were having issues with the tv service. The next day they said they would move me to another room. I agreed to the move ans asked that they comp me for the snack bar items I had consumed, since I could not order room service, and they agreed. In the next room we still had phone issues, but they did get tv features working. Overall I think their front desk staff was pretty poor. When I checked out of the hotel, I was in a hurry and I didn't check the detail on my statement. When I got home and looked at the statement, I saw that they had not credited me for anything I would not stay there again and I would recommend that others avoid it.
