Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 40Great hotel near airport
The hotel was exceptionally clean and very well appointed (especially for an airport hotel) I would definitely recommend using this property for traveling from the Rome airport! Free full breakfast buffet and great menu for evening meals!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 40"Great room for the money"
I think the best recommendation I can give is that during my short stay I noticed that a large number of airline personnel made the same choice.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 40Great location
The location is very convenient and the rooms are very comfortable. The shuttle service is free and runs frequently. My only complaint was that I didn't receive the wake-up call I requested. I was told at the Front Desk that the computer system was down. Luckily, I always travel with a back-up alarm.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 40Great room for the convenience
The hotel is no five star by any means, but my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. We had only spent one night before our early departure in the morning, so the convenient location to the airport was ideal for us. They have a shuttle that runs on every half hour. The rooms were a lot nicer than we had anticipated and very clean. The bar staff was extremely pleasant, and our only problem with The Hilton Inn was the Concierge staff's urgency level. They were very nice, but the line to check in was unbearably long. I guess that is Europe for you though. We are used to being a bit faster in the states.?

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 40Good Choice
While the room cost was comparatively high, the convenience, free computer access and quality of staff service made the choice worth it. The hotel is spacious, very clean and has a restaurant/food area. We stayed only one night in preparation for our trip back to the U.S. The only thing that we would do differently would be to understand better the pick up point for the hotel's shuttle from the airport. The hotel has a self laundry area but the cost is a little steep i.e. $7.50 per wash and $7.50 per dry in small machines.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 40Great hotel, just don't look outside
This is a wonderful hotel for having a delicious dinner and a very deep sleep before flying out of Fiumicino Airport. Although the hotel is located on the deserted end of the airport, there is a free shuttle which runs every 15 minutes or so to the airport and its sister hotel which is much closer to the terminal. You can also schedule a shuttle pickup time if you have an early flight (shuttle starts at 4 AM). My brother and I stayed there at the end of our 2 week trip to Italy, and I must say our best dinner of the entire trip was at the hotel. The food was a bit pricey, but worth every penny (or Eurocent).

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 40Good hotel if you need to be by the airport.
The Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport is perfect if you need a hotel close to the airport. They have very good suttle service. We asked for a wake up call for a 6:15 a.m. flight, luckily we woke up on our own because we did not get a wake up call. The hotel was expremely clean and the service was very good. The food was expensive and not very good. The price was good from your web site. There is nothing near the hotel and taxis are expensive, so you are stuck if you are at this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 40Hilton Garden Inn Fiumicino
Stayed here as last night of 2 week vacation across Italy. Wanted to be close to airport for early morning flight. Hotel was great, warm comfortable and great bath. Food in restraunt was too expensive. Bus in morning was timely. Breakfast which was included in my rate was wonderful, full American/British/Italian breakfast buffet.Coffee was great. I found it offensive that I had to pay for 2 hours of parking in a hotel which was not cheap. Parking should have been free...for 2 hours of parking I paid 7 euros that is about $10.50 American. I had a rental car which I parked to empty and clean before returning to the airport, 2 hours. Also in taking the shuttle bus back after returning the car I had great difficulty finding it and after 45 minutes in the rain only accidentally caught the shuttle as it was driving by. Needs to be better marked, no one in the area or airport knew where the pickup spot was.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 40Close to Airport but Expensive
Even though there is a walkway from the FCO airport to this hotel, it is a LONG walk there, especially if you're toting luggage. The restaurant was very expensive and the food was not up to Hilton standards. A small bottle of Sprite was 5 Euros (about $7.50 US at that time). The only reason I would ever stay at this hotel again is because of its proximity to the airport.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 40Very Expensive
We were changed from this hotel to the Hilton Rome Airport because of maintenance, so this is a review of that Hilton and not the Garden Inn. The food at the Airport Hilton is EXPENSIVE!! Five Euros for a very small bottle of Sprite and the food was not very good. The internet was 3.5 euros for 15 minutes. It probably would have been cheaper to eat at the airport and then go to the hotel room. It is at least a 15 minute walk from the airport to the hotel and when you're carrying luggage and you're tired, this can be exhausting, The best thing about this hotel IS its proximity to both the airport AND the train station, though. They only have one or two English speaking TV channels and they are both BBC News channels, which repeat the same programming all day long. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were smashed flat.
