Thin Walls

The service from the staff, including housekeeping, was excellent. Restaurant, Andaluca, is excellent. We had drinks at Oliver's and ordered pizza. Horrible pizza! Tasted like cheap frozen pizza. Service in the bar was excellent. What will keep us away from this hotel are the thin walls. Our neighbor's TV and conversations could be heard. Unfortunately we had neighbors who burned the midnight oil. We had a couple of sleepless nights. A night later we had a new neighbor who was quiet. However, on our last night, after we had gone to sleep, I awoke with the smell of cigarette smoke. Not sure where it came from.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. Very nice staff, clean environment, comfortable, and the restaurant was excellent.

Mayflower

Clean and comfortable room. Not small in the least as some have stated. Believe it was a queen deluxe room. Great location. Small but adequate gym. Wine tasting Wednesday is awesome. Happy hour in martini bar is good. The area is loud. Mostly street noise, but didn't find hotel itself to be overly loud at night and we didn't hear noise from other guests as some have stated. The elevators are slow. Really a stretch though to find something that needs improvement otherwise. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

Just 2 blocks away from outstanding shopping, Starbucks and close to Pike's Place. Would stay there again.

Great place in the heart of Seattle

I would recommend The Mayflower Park Hotel to any friends and/or relatives without hesitation. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location great, and the response of the staff excellent (I tried ironing a shirt, and the the iron was broken--a new one was sent up in minutes). Definitely check out the Mayflower if you're heading into Seattle for a few days.

Location, Location, Location

This was our first trip to Seattle, and my wife and I really enjoyed the Maylower Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quaint, and immaculately maintained. Perhaps the best thing was the location. We were able to walk any where we wanted to go in the downtown area, and the adjacent mall has monorail service to the space needle. Plenty of restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel.

Great hotel! BUT...

Nice service! Nice location! Clean room! Every famous places in Seattle are walking distance!! I like bathrobes! I stayed 12F's room. I can't open the window because hotel put some stopper for open the window.. So, I can't change any air! Any way... Outstanding hotel!! I really want to stay the hotel again!!

Overall nice hotel

The Mayflower Park is a smallish elegant hotel situated very well downtown. The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel and room were clean. The room was well appointed. There is a comfortable and popular bar in the lobby - we didn't try the hotel restaurant but it looked nice. Valet parking was attentive and free! There are a couple of things to point out - we were given a third floor handicapped room (we are not handicapped) with a view of the hotel heating system. We didn't mind the handicapped room as it is probably larger than most rooms, but the view of the heating system was unfortunate. If we stay there again, we would call ahead and ask for a room with a better view. Also, the heat in the room did not work. We were brought a space heater which worked okay. All in all, a very nice hotel with a great downtown location.

Great Service, Perfect Location!

We chose this hotel because we were seeing a play at a theater a couple of blocks away. We arrived early, about noon, and asked if we could leave our car and just walk around town until check in time. They offered to let us check in early! We were within walking distance to our play, to shopping and to Pikes Market and the waterfront. It was a great experience. The hotel was beautiful and they were very friendly and helpful.

Great room, rate and service

Staff was great from the doorman to the front desk. This is a place we will return. We have stayied other placed and paid more and received less.

Great Historic Hotel, not a great night of sleep.

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff was very helpful. The rooms are on the small side and the bed was not very comfortable.
