Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 109satisfactory
The room was small, but clean. The bathroom was very tiny, but modern and clean. The bed was just alright, and the window overlooked an alley and office building a few feet away. The breakfast buffet was much better in previous visits. This time the coffee was bitter, and was served a while after we had food. the scrambled eggs were very wet and runny. The rest of the food was quite good, and the fruit was excellent.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 109Great Location; satisfactory room
Great location for this hotel, near downtown crossing, Faneuil Hall marketplace and the North End. Rooms are small, but clean and adequate. Service is excellent.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 109Amazing Hotel, GREAT price!
I booked this room two nights before arriving looking for a good price. Walking into the hotel I was instantly amazed. It had so much character with many friendly staff on hand to help. My boyfriend and I booked a room with a full bed so we were leary that the room would be small and bed uncomfortable. Boy were we wrong!! The bed was AMAZING!! Down comforter and pillows made for a wonderful nights rest. We were also able to walk everywhere from the hotel location. We will definately be staying here for our next trip to Boston!

Loved the room and location - the only thing is parking - there is none - $40/day

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 109great room for the money, in room snacks come with a high price.
I was satisfied with the quality of the room, the bed was very comfortable. The room was on the small side but confortable. The snaks in the room were over priced, a snicker bar(regular size) was $3. I think for the price of the room they should be free. But overall it was was a nice weekend with my husband away from the kids.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 109Wonderful!
With the single exception of a rather small room, our visit to the Parker was more than we could have hoped for. This Grand Old Lady of a hotel deserves all the praise she gets!

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 109Location Location Cleanliness
This hotel is located in the heart of Boston. It was spotless, quiet and bed was very comfortable. Most importantly, I would not trade the location and overall comfort for any other hotel-even if they were trendier. There are 2 great pubs on the block: Hub Pub and Beantown Pub for great fun within a one-minute walk! My one complaint is that you must pay for a computer with internet access-thank God for my iPhone. I have stayed at lesser hotels with free computer internet access at no charge-this was disappointing.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 109Perfect Stay!
Been to Boston 4 times, and this was the best hotel I've stayed at. Loved the history too. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful; hotel was very clean & comfortable. Perfect location right along the Freedom Trail, 2 blocks to Boston Common & lots of T stops close by. You can literally walk anywhere from this location! Not sure why people say the rooms are small. We stayed in one with a double bed, and had plenty of room including a rather large closet. Highly recommended!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 109great location - comfortable room but small bathroom
The hotel was good overall with the one exception to our bathroom. You could not close the bathroom door unless you lifted the toilet seat. Also, the hotel bar closed very early - 12:30am on a Saturday. But otherwise the room was very comfortable and the service was great!

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 109Nice place
Lovely interior for an older building. The room was fair-sized for a city hotel room, though the bathroom was surprisingly large. No view, though. The double bed was a little small for two (though comfortable.) The staff was friendly and helpful.
