Beautiful Property

Great service- exactly what you'd expect from hotel of this caliber.

Great location

The Taj Boston is in a perfect location! The subway stop is within one block and the start of the Freedom Trail was also within walking distance. Great shopping started right at our front door. Overall the hotel was fairly priced for our needs, but there was no coffee pot in the room which means we had to get dressed and head downstairs to the Cafe to get a $4 cup of coffee (taste was good). The bathroom was well appointed but very small--had to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. The shower pressure was very good considering we were up on the 15th floor. The final thing I found odd was that our bed had only a fitted sheet and a duvet. There was no top sheet so we requested one everyday during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay especially because the hotel's proximity to the Charles River and the 4th of July festivities.

Charming and Luxurious

The Taj Boston was so much fun, every single person we encountered was helpful, polite, and engaging. We got upgraded to a beautiful room with a lovely view of the Boston Public Gardens. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We could walk to everything. I can't wait to go back.

OUTSTANDING HOTEL

I have stayed at a few other hotel chains that I had considered premier world hotels. My stay at Taj Boston has eclipsed any experience I ever had at any other hotel. It is by far the most superior hotel chain in the world. Service was impecable, cleanliness was the best I have ever seen and the restaurants and selection of meals was unbelieveable.

Overall ... its a nice hotel

Decoration of the room, lobby and all were really nice. bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly too. But it would've been better if the hotel service were better, like they knew we were 3 people and paid an extra for it but there were only 2 pair of towels, bathrobes, water...

Outstanding Hotel

The reservation was booked on Hotel.com. It was effortless and I appreciated knowing the location prior to booking and the flexibility of being able to cancel if necessary. In terms of the stay, my parents had a wonderful experience at the Taj. The staff was always gracious and accomodating. Absolutely recommend a stay at the Taj!

perfect pampering in the center of town

We found the turn down service, the beauty of the room and the quality of the chocolates left for us in the evening to be a wonderful surprise for a hotel which is remarkably well centered next to Newberry street and across from Boston Commons. Wherever we wanted to go, we were at a great starting point. The only thing the hotel needs is courtesy morning coffee. The concierge was friendly and well informed, but no coffee makers nor welcoming morning coffee in the lobby. However, a Starbucks was right around the corner.

Concierge was awesome!

Great hotel; location, service, food. Concierge went the extra mile when we were caught in a rainstorm to get a cab to the rescue. Would recommend and go to again.

Excellent Hotel - good value

Top notch hotel, great location on the "commons" walking distance to theater district, Freedom Trail etc. HUGE room - competitive rate. We've stayed several times in Boston, this could be the new favorite.

A classy and elegant hotel.

Old style grandeur; very comfortable. Staff very friendly-- went out of their way to help. The "fireplace concierge" and menu of wood options for the fireplace was a little over the top, but always nice to have a fireplace in the room. Price was fair; however, brunch was very over-priced. Get your breakfast on Newbury Street. Would definitely go back.

Terrific Deal!

The Taj was wonderful! The service and ambiance were great. It's a little on the older side, but it adds to the charm. The size of the room was amazing compared to more expensive places I've stayed in Boston! Great deal!

Outstanding Luxury Hotel

Amenities were great. Room was outstanding. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Location next to Boston Commons was very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Concierge staff was helpful and went out of their way to get reservations on busy night. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.
