Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 41Great room for the money
We got what we paid for, nothing. The location was great. 4 blocks from the space needle. The charge for parking was too much, the spots were a block away and in an open alley. The rooms are old studio apartments complete with a mini kitchenette, which was nice. Our carpet was wet? The room was clean, but you could tell that not a lot of heart was put into the remodeling. The front desk was very friendly and very helpful. There is a shuttle service as well...FREE!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 41Power out for over three hours
The electricity was out for over three hours on the evening we stayed at here. Staff seemed to be doing little to help guests. There were no back-up/emergency lights in the hotel. After over an hour, staff began to hand out flash lights to a few guests. Upon check out no apology was offered. I also ask for them to comp the room or at least discount our stay. The desk person stated that the city of Seattle was not reimbursing them for lost business therefore he could discount or comp our room. I thought this was a pretty weak excuse. I will never stay here again and recommend you do not either.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 41Great Location
We were in Seattle for a concert at the Key Arena. This hotel was the perfect location! We were able to walk to the venue within minutes. The hotel was quaint, old, but clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely offered some charm to our stay in Seattle.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 41Great place!
This hotel and the college inn in the u district have the most character of all hotels in Seattle. It's clean, is in a great location, is priced well below what it should be and offers complementary wine on selected afternoons. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 41Great Location-Challenging stay due to unexpected hot weather
The hotel actually is quaint, given the old beautiful building and lovely gardens, however, we were on the 3rd level and given no elevators and no air conditioning, the heat wave (about 100 degrees), made it very uncomfortable. The location was spectacular with wonderful views of The Needle. Staff tried to help with situations as they arose and seemed friendly and professional. Parking is always a challenge in Seattle from what I hear so be sure to learn about various options before you go-free parking after 6 pm, but move before 8 am.....

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 41Great Value
Although parking is a nightmare (waking up early to move the car or constantly pay the meter outside), we found the Inn to be in the perfect location! It's close enough to downtown to walk if you want, and far enough from the craziness of the city. We discovered Chopstix while we were there and completely fell in love with the dueling piano bar! You have to visit -- it's about a block and a half away from the Inn (on 11 Roy St).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 41Good room for the price
If you're expecting a graniose hotel - that it is not, but the price probably reflects that. For a clean, nice place to put your head at night, I would DEFINITELY stay here. Location was good - in between Freemont and Belltown, close enough to downtown to catch a cab. Complimentary breakfast was only so-so. We surprisingly got a little kitchen in our room, not sure if they're all like that. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for the value.
