Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 33Charming older Seattle hotel
A old Seattle hotel with charm but no elevators. Might have been an old boarding house 80 years ago. Good location near the north end of Seattle.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 33Nice hotel at a convenience location
Nice hotel, though a little bit old. The surrounding is good. But the parking is a hassle.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 33Great room for the money
The only problem was that the TV reception of ABC does not come in and the hotel staff stated it was beyond their control? I was on the 3rd floor and no elevator. So be prepared for that. Otherwise, I was very satisified and felt safe.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 33Amazing Room at a Great Location
The room was very clean and perfectly sized for my needs. I had a view of the Space Needle from my window. And it was surrounded by some amazing resturants. They did leave the heater on at all times, so i had to turn on the AC to equal it all out, but that did drown out the noise from the street. Puget Sound was just a 15-20 min. walk away. Got to the Space Needle in less than 10 min. The only drawback was that their parking area was very small and cost $18 per day. I didn't really want to fuss with parking though, so I just paid it. I was very satisfied with the room, very old fashioned and cozy; just to my taste. Wonderful for the price. I would be more than happy to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. (One drawback, no elevator. So if you need one,I recommend a room the the 1st floor.)

This is a cool Motel. I could see the Space Needle from my room. Steps from Key Arena. Right on the bus line to and from downtown. It is an older hotel, but well updated. It didn't even rain till I was headed out of town. See you in 5 weeks.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 33A little time-capsule hotel to enjoy on a budget
Probably the first hotel I have stayed at where I received an actual room key, not a card! I felt like I was going back in time when I stepped through the doors. Do not read that wrong, though. It is a very interesting and comfortable place to stay. The hotel is well-kept, although it definitely is showing its age. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a corner room that overlooked the water and the mountains in the distance, which was incredibly gorgeous at sunset. There was a small kitchen in the room (stove, small fridge, microwave), which is an amenity very few hotels have these days, especially a hotel for $60 a night. The TV was small and did not get many cable channels, but you are in Seattle. Why would you stay in your room?? Rain or shine, Seattle is a fun place to be. The hotel is close to the bus lines, as well. You would have no problem getting from either the airport or AMTRAK station to the hotel. It would be a pretty expensive Taxi fare from the airport, though. My only major complaint was that I could not pick up the wireless internet from my room, which was in the far corner on the third floor. However, there are many great coffee shops and internet cafes in the surrounding area that you can get plugged in. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to downtown Seattle and not outrageously expensive, this is a great pick. (As a side note, it is also very close to the Space Needle.)

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 33Great location, but...
The bed was horrible! The mattress sagged terribly on each side of the middle. I was not able to find a comfortable position at all. I had to move the chair so it blocked the room door to be able to have enough light to read. The bathtub hadn't been cleaned. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. The location was great for downtown Seattle and Pike's Market.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 33fine example of value.
This is not the Hilton/Four Seasons, so you have to overlook that it was built in 1929. For me this is a great thing, a building with charm. I like my studio room a lot, love the location, but parking can be a bit of a dance if you do not buy the $18 a day parking pass. I use the street parking and paid the meter and did ok since I had things to do outside the city. Bottom line I am thinking up excuses to go back and stay again.

This is our second time at this Inn. We planned on going to Pikes Place, buying seafood and cooking in our room. We are from Whidbey Island and were going to bring our own cookware, however, the Inn offered their pots and pans and were so nice. The cookware was limited but functional. The shutttle driver recieved a bowl of Cioppino in lieu of a tip and seemed very happy. It's an older building but the staff, location and perks far outway any shortfalls. The price is so right and you're in the heart of Seattle. Great place to stay. Don and Shelley
