very nice hotel!

Our stay at the Compass Cove was very nice. We stayed for 5 days, and had a great time. We were very impressed with all of the pools and jacuzzi's, and spent quite a bit of time in them. Our room was large and included a full kitchen (including pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc), which was very nice, since we cooked our own breakfast every day and saved a bit of money that way (as opposed to eating out all the time). The view of the ocean from our room was spectacular. The only downside to this hotel is that the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the bedspread looked like it hadn't been washed in a long time (there was a stain on the underside of it that grossed us out). Other than that, it was a great place to stay, and I'd recommend it!

Fabulous Room for the Money!!

The Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort was way better than I had anticipated!! The staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was very nice!! It was clean, as were all the pools!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! Well worth the money!!

great room for the money

Excellent view, off season so not too crowded, room was clean. Only thing not to complete satisfaction was lack of coffee supplies and toaster in the room.

Great Hotel

Room was very spacious, as we had 4 people. Was an ocean front room that didn't have a great view, due in part to it was on the first floor and there was a bar right outside of our balcony! :D Overall great hotel with great rooms at great prices and great staff!!!

Very Nice....

A friend of mine and I were going to be in the myrtle beach area, and since neither of us had been there so we decided to spend the night. The hotel was more that I had expected, and much larger than I anticipated. The hotel was in a good location, right on the shore, clean, etc...I WILL STAY AGAIN!

great hotel

i have visited compass cove twice within a month's time. i returned the second time because i was impressed with the cleanliness and the brightness of the hotel room. my second visit was just as pleasurable. i do have one small complaint. during my most recent visit, the bed sheets smelled of cigarette smoke. no other smell of cigarettes though. i had requested a non smoking room. overall, i would stay again and i would recommend it to my friends and family.

Stayed During Bike week 2009

We loved the hotel, the staff was very friendly... the room exceeded what we expected, we were very pleased with the service we recieved even with all the congestion from bike week.. check in and out was very fast, security was top notch.. Would def. reccomend for families, however the elevators were very slow.. we found two hidden elevators at the far right side of building near fire exit.
