Great room

We had stayed there before so we thought we'd give it another try. It looked like they spruced it up a bit. The room was very clean, parking was great and it was right on the beach! Love it!

Very good value for the price

The room and property were very clean and nice, especially for the price! The room was comfortable and the view was outstanding. The furnature is certainly a little dated but clean and in good shape.

A lovely resort with a bright, pleasant room!

Compass Cove was a wonderfully relaxing place to stay, with a friendly, responsive staff. Even the young man driving the van from the airport was pleasant, and the young man working the front desk was reminiscent of employees at the Ritz. CC is a family place, so there were a lot of kids around, but not so noisy as to be bothersome. There were several pools, including a couple just for young children. The pool directly outside of my room had kids in it during the day, but not at night, which meant I could enjoy it until 11pm! The breakfast restaurant in the resort is terrific - the buffet was hot, fresh, varied and delicious. I've never had such a good breakfast in a hotel restaurant. The servers and busboys were helpful and pleasant. The only thing missing from Compass Cove is a good restaurant for the rest of the day and evening. There is a small bar/restaurant, but the atmosphere inside is sterile, and the food below average, and served with plastic utensils. The waiters were great, but they didn't have the ingredients for the first two drinks I ordered. Their outdoor eating area was nice, overlooking the water, but the incredibly cheap plastic glasses for drinks lessened the experience. I plan to return to CC as soon as possible, bringing several friends, too!

A bright and comfy room

My oceanfront room was very clean, brightly decorated and very comfortable. Getting to the beach for walk was very easy. The pool area was nicely maintained and lounge chairs adequate for sunbathing. Was quite pleased overall with my stay!

Excellent Hotel

I always stay at The Compass Cove when I visit Myrtle Beach and each time I am pleased with their service, accommadations and reasonable prices. I enjoyed my stay!

Good value in accomodations for Myrtle Beach Area

The front desk personnel was helpful and friendly. Parking garage was accomodating with parking on the floor where room was assigned. Large indoor pool was a plus. Would stay at the resort again.

Agreat Place to Stay

Especially for the price one of best experiences ever. Staff friendly, many amenities (pools, bars, restaurants etc.)A ways from the shopping malls, but very convenient to other restaurants.Right on Ocean and non-smoking rooms offer balcony for smoking. Overall a great experience.

Good bargain

Service was outstanding. Never seen so many water features at one hotel (22). Everywhere you looked was either a pool, hot tub or lazy river.

Very Nice and clean Hotel

We only stayed one night, but the oceanfront room was very clean and comfortable. There were many pools and lazy rivers. The front desk and lean staff were very helpful and accomodating. I would stay here again

Good hotel

Parking was a major pain and we would have rathered been in the main building other than that ok.
