Great room for money

The room was clean and the bedspread was updatd which helped the "older" hotel look new. Overall clean and well kept, would stay again just wish there could have been better locks on the hotel doors.

Easy and Conveinent

We stayed here for a quick one night. We even checked in about 2am to find there was no parking but Deanna who worked at the front desk was nice enough to move her car and allow us to park right up front in the breezeway! She was so friendly and great!! We would definitely stay here again!

Best Bargain on Hotel Circle

Our second floor room was clean and very comfortable with easy access. Elevator is a bit small but not a problem. Just off the 8 Freeway, with easy access to both east and west bound ramps. I took the sidestreets to Balboa Park museums and zoo, but I recommend the Freeway instead. Sidestreets can be jammed. Only 10 minutes to SeaWorld. Location is great. Didn't eat at their Pam Pam restaurant, because I'm on a budget (not expensive, but I'm really thrifty ;-). But the room had the neatest little kitchenette (small frig, stove, oven, small microwave, sink, and even dishes, pots and pans). I bought groceries at the convenience store (1/2 block west) and cooked in the room. Nice family restaurant (1 block west) with good lunch and dinner specials. I believe its called Family Restaurant. Best San Diego bargain I've ever experienced. I would definitely go there again. By the way, this hotel is very near the gay section of town. Rainbow flags adorn a number of little shops between the hotel and Balboa Park. Can be a nice side trip exploring the area.

Great Room for the money

I read several reviews and most of them said it was a great room for the money. The reviews were correct. I am so glad I booked the hotel and would not hesitate to do it again in the future.

Great Option

I booked this hotel for Comic-Con weekend. It did the job well for just getting in from a long day and just crashing. If you are looking for swanky accomodations, then go somewhere else. Close to shopping,restaurants, and about 10/15 mintues to downtown San Diego.

GREAT ROOM FOR MONEY. GREAT LOCATION

I DIDN'T EXPECT THE HOTEL TO BE THIS GREAT FOR THE PRICE I PAID. I LOVE THE LOCATION BECAUSE IT IS SIGNIFICANTLY CLOSE TO A LOT OF THINGS SUCH AS TARGET & THE MALL. I FELT SAFE WHILE STAYING IN THIS HOTEL. I WAS ALLOWED TO CHECK IN EARLY AT ABOUT 12PM WHEN THE CHECK IN TIME IS 4PM. THE FRONT DESK STAFF & EVEN THE HOUSEKEEPING WORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.THE ROOM WAS CLEAN & THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. THE MICROWAVE, FRIDGE & CABLE TV WERE VERY CONVINENT.WE CALLED FOR ROOM SERVICE ON OUR 2ND DAY TO REQUEST OUR ROOM BE CLEANED BECAUSE WE WERE STILL SLEEPING WHEN THE CLEANING LADY 1ST SHOWED UP & WITHIN MINUTES THE SHE SHOWED UP AT OUR DOOR. WE SCHEDULED A COURTESY VAN TO TAKE US TO THE ZOO. WE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE ZOO EARLY INSTEAD OF OUR SCHEDULED TIME, SO WE CALLED THE HOTEL TO REARRANGED THE PICK UP TIME & THE THEY DID IT WITHOUT HESITATION. THE POOL WAS GREAT & THE JACUZZI WAS FABULOUS. ON OUR 2ND TRIP TO THE POOL, THERE WERE NO TOWELS SO WE REQUESTED SOME & AGAIN WITHIN MINUTES ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES PROVIDED THEM TO US. THE ONLY COMPLAIN I HAVE IS THAT I FOUND A HAIR IN ONE OF THE CLEAN TOWELS IN THE ROOM. UPON CHECKING OUT, THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY. OVERALL THE HOTEL WAS GREAT FOR THE PRICE I PAID. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
