Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 5Outstanding B&B
I stayed in the Garden Room and it was just superb. A huge room and good-sized bathroom, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The Inn itself is breathtaking, in terms of its color scheme, restored old wood doors, stairway, stained glass window, etc. The garden is delightful. Our breakfast was substantial and delicious -- white chocolate/blueberry scones and one of the best ham and cheese omelets I ever had. The staff was courteous and friendly. It is quite centrally located, probably 10 minutes from the airport, and surprisingly quiet. I expect to making other business trips to San Diego in the next year and will always try to stay here.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 5Quaint Hotel
I had never stayed at a hotel that didn't have more than 100 rooms so when I stayed at Britt Scripps, I didn't know what to expect. The hotel has 9 rooms in total, each with a different name and theme. I was pleasantly surprised to find how beautiful, quaint, and pleasant the staff and hotel was. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. This hotel is perfect for couples and adults.... a lot of business professionals. It's very quiet so I don't think kids will enjoy this type of setting and I don't think the guests would enjoy noisy kids. The only thing that I didn't like was the "parking." Parking is limited to either street parking (but you have to move your car before 8am the next morning or risk a citation) or across the street in an open parking lot. Otherwise, great hotel and service.
