Has Amenities, You Just Can't Use Them!

When I booked this hotel, I was excited to see that the hotel offered a free shuttle to various attractions around Seattle. The reality is that there's only 1 shuttle, and it can accomodate about 20 people. Considering how many guests there were who wanted to use the shuttle, most people were not able to. When I inquired about taking it, I was informed there would be a 3 hour wait. Who would want to wait for 3 hours, just to get stranded in downtown, where I'm assuming there would be another ridiculously long wait to be picked up? There was also a free breakfast. When I went to it the first day, the breakfast was completely mobbed. Most of the food was completely gone, and what was left you couldn't eat because every single plate had been used. Even the drinks were completely gone. Not only that, but all the seats were taken. Again, too many guests for what was being offered. The second day I came down earlier, and it was the same situation, there was still no food, no plates, and no where to sit. Also, the second day we stayed there, our room was never cleaned, even though we left early that day and didn't return till late. All in all, the hotel is decent looking, is in a decent location. But I've had better experiences at a much much cheaper hotel. This hotel is very expensive considering you're not getting much and can't even eat the breakfast.

Great room

We only did a one night stay, no lake view only of the parking lot, try to request a room with a view of lake union, Flat screen in room was a plus. Parking was ok, just try to get back to the hotel before to late as all the good spots are gone. The breakfast was great!! get there early if you want the pick of the fruit. A great place wish we could have stayed longer.

Lake Union Seattle

The Silver Cloud Inn in Seattle was a fine place to stay when visiting Seattle. The rooms were better than average, large flat screen TV was nice. The Workout room was terrific! Breakfast room view is wonderful even in the rain! Shuttle to town was convenient. Problem was only that we could only park one car inside, and they were not full.

Very comfortable

I was in Seattle to meet up with a friend for the weekend, and needed a place to stay close to her apartment that was easy to find and that provided parking. I flew in late (11pm) and had no problem checking in, my room was ready, spacious and clean. The hotel provided free internet, and the parking lot was gated, so I did not need to worry about my rental when not using it. The location was not really all that exciting, but there were a couple of nice bars/resteraunts within a short walk. I think this hotel easily has the best continental breakfast I've every seen, with make your own waffles, granola, bagels, toast, english muffins, fruit, milk, orange juice, muffins, etc. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel itself and it proximity to downtown, especially at the price.

Nice clean quiet hotel.

I continue to be impressed with the quality of this hotel. The buffet was a little busy at breakfast and the staff was having a hard time keeping up, but it was Sunday and there were alot of people there. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodated my wishes for more towels and shuttle services with kindness and efficiency. I would definatley staff there again.

Great Nights Sleep!

Location was great. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was helpful. Really clean rooms, hallways, sitting areas.
