Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 1VERY friendly staff and hotel is nice enough, but too expensive for what you get
I stayed here during a festival in Cannes (not the big famous one, a smaller one), so the price I paid may be much higher than they normally charge. That said, I thought they charged far too much for what they offered. I was really annoyed when I found out how much less some of my fellow conference-goers were paying for their massive, ultra-chic apartments right off the Croisette. I thought this hotel/apartment was kind of the worst of all worlds, in that it doesn't have the complete service package of a hotel, but it is not nearly as inexpensive (or classy looking) as some of the actual apartments that are readily available for holiday bookings in Cannes. For example, there is no reception beyond 8pm so you don't have the security advantage of a hotel if returning home late at night. There is maid service only once a week so that is not much of an advantage over a regular apartment. There's free wifi in the lobby and wired hi-speed access from the room (though that only worked about half the time). There is also optional breakfast service (though if you walk half a block you can get a very nice croissant for less than a euro so not sure what the 8 euros they charge for croissants and coffee really gets you except the chance to eat out on their terrace, which is actually pretty nice, but still). The neighborhood is bustling and there are convenient groceries and p
