Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 172Excellent location, a little hard to navigate to.
It was one of our best stays. An anniversary adventure sans kids. All staff were very helpful. Crimson lounge an obvious hook-up place and the "buy a bottle" policy was interesting.

The hotel was so clean and nicely decorated. The room had an amazing view and the customer service was great! I would definitely recommend the Sax.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 172Great escape!
The decor was beautiful in the superior king room... Front desk was very helpful. We will always stay here when we're in chi-town!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 172Great Location
This hotel was close to everything. Two blocks from the train station and bus stop. A couple of blocks from Michigan Ave shopping. Less than 1.5 miles to the Aquarium and Museum area. The rooms were clean and everyone was very nice. We'd stay here again definitely.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 172Nice Hotel in a Convenient Location
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sax. The hotel and room was nice, and the staff very helpful and professional. The package included parking which was made it a relatively good price. The location is conveniently located in the downtown area.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 172Great Place
Close to everything, in the heart of River North. Absolutely loved it - especially for the great price we paid (and we got a deal with free parking as well, which saved us another $90) Bed was super comfy, we were sooo pleased.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 172Dirty Bathroom
The bathroom had not been cleaned and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. I have stayed at many hotels in Chiago that were cheaper and just as nice of a room and were clean. We were also supposed to have a King bed and we got 2 doubles. Checkout was not until noon and the housekeeper knocked on our door at 8:30, we were still in bed.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 172Perfect Location!
The hotel is located in a great spot in Chicago. Walking short distances saved a lot of money on cab rides. We were able to walk to Michigan Avenue, Millenium, Willis Tower, and Navy Pier at short blocks. The most we walked was a little over a mile! Hotel is very nice and the ammenedities were excellent. The only downfall about the hotel was that we called and asked if there was a refrigerator that we could put our food in that we packed instead of bringing a cooler on the train. The hotel said that we could, but when we got there the refrigerator in the room was already stocked and you were charged if you took anything out of there!

Walking distance to Mag Mile. Could see the river from room. Was upgraded and recieved bottle of campagne from concierge upon arrival. Great staff and really nice hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 172Dirty Room
This hotel was in a great location, but the bathroom had not been cleaned. Also we booked a King room and got a room with 2 Double beds. I will not be staying at this hotel again. We go to Chicago 2-3 times a year and try different hotels and this was the most expensive and the dirtiest.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 172Hotel Sax Review
Hotel was great. We flew in to O'hare and took the train to the closest stop and huffed it couple blocks to the Hotel Sax. Stayed there three nights, but didnt take advantage of the hotel very much. The lounge was cool, and the game room looked like a lot of fun, but only if you're into video games. Discovered that hotel card also got us into house of blues without a cover charge and a free round of bowling. The restaurant on the main floor, Bin36, is not recommended. The staff was nice and helpful. They helped keep our bags when we went out in the city after we checked out, and were able to locate something I left in my room and return it to me.
