I can't say enough good things about this place. Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and free parking. We would definitely stay here again. Good place for families.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 29Great Room
The hotel suite was outstanding. There was ample space. The kitchenette (besides being small) was very functional. You had a real stove (not a hot plate), good sized microwave and full size refridgerator / freezer. To my surprise, you actually had usable cookware and utensils. The desk was more than adequate to do any work (I had 2 laptops with external keyboards and mice - had plenty of space for both) and the sitting area was spacious (I had enough space to swing my golf clubs). The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant next door was excellent (great food and very reasonable prices). The complimentary breakfast was basic but very good. The only downside is that you're in a corporate center. So nights and weekends, you don't have any place (outside the restaurants in the next building) to go to. You'll need to drive every place else. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again.

After first night when we come back from a long day at Zoo, we found out they change our luggage without telling us. That was very surprising. And they moved us nearby Garden Inn. We booked this hotel to comfort and breakfast.

Our family of five stayed just one night. Our room was clean, quiet and we all got a very restful night's sleep. We were just passing through, but I wished we could have stayed longer...

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 29Great Room for the money
I selected this hotel based on the price, free breakfast, parking, internet and the positive reviews in hotels.com. Most hotels in the same price rang charged parking at least $20 per night and some even charge for internet! Homewood suites provided a great HOT breakfast. My wife and 3 young kids could have easily spent $40. No need to haul the kids to breakfast at Denny's. Once finished, we go back to the room to freshen-up. The rooms were super clean with the exception of the grout mildew in the shower. The kitchenette had a stove and a big refrigerator, not the tiny dorm-type. It did not bother me but may bother others. All the staff, from the managers to housekeeping always greeted me. I was surprised to see the managers busing, cleaning tables, and making sure the food was well stocked. This is what I called teamwork. Although, we did not use the pool and spa, it looked clean from a distance. The hotel is not far from the freeway, located near business parks. This is by far the best hotel for the money.

Homewood Suites by Hilton was a very pleasant experience. The suite was well designed, and the addition of a dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator to the normal range and microwave were nice touches. The complimentary breakfasts were very complete, and the dining room was spacious and clean. What really made Homewood Suites stand out was the competent and very helpful staff. Every question was answered with a smile, and every request was granted promptly. The location was quiet, but very convenient to I-5 and access to the whole San Diego area.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 29Excellent Experience
The room was very comfortable, very clean, and quite spacious for a small suite. The hotel provided breakfast bar included a broad selection of cereals, waffles, and a hot, fresh, very good mini-buffet. The hotel also includes an evening meal on some days which we did not sample. But it looked like a good selection of cold-cuts that would have been quite nice if we had chosen to eat there. We will definitely stay there again when in the San Diego area.

We stay at this hotel every time we are in San Diego. It is clean, smells good, has a big shower (a tub would be nice), a full breakfast included in your stay, a kichenette, and the high ceilings make the room appear bigger. Very nice hotel!

I will never stay in any other hotel branch unless there is no Homewood Suites around or available. Some friends suggested this hotel, and it was even more than I expected. The difference between a 5 star hotel and this one is, in a five star hotel you have to pay 10 dollars for a bagal, internet and parking. Where At this hotel its all free and deluxe. Staff very helpful, wonderful luxurious stay. I will remember it forever!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 29Great Hotel
The hotel had a very pleasant and helpful staff. We loved having such a wide variety of breakfast choices unlike the continental breakfast offered by most hotels. The room was very comfortable with the exception of the sofa bed; it would have been great for one or two small children but was comfortable for a 16 year old. We will defiantly stay the next time that we are in the San Diego area but will upgrade to a two bedroom if there are more than the two of us again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 29Pure Comfort
Every part of my stay was pleasant. It was very clean, comfortable, and friendly. The pillows were my favorite... lots & lots of them. The room had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was very well organized and had a variety of goodies. My kids also really enjoyed the pool area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
