Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 110Good hotel exept for elevators and self-parking...
Buena Vista Palace was a great deal for the money, but returning late in the day from the nearby theme parks was a little frustrating depentding on the conference center activity - Often, we had to park in the most remote lot from the main entrance. On Sunday morning of our stay, no doubt a busy check-out morning, we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for an elevator on which we and our luggage could fit. Only two of the four tower elevators were working at the time...

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 110Great Renovation
After reading many of the reviews about this hotel prior to booking it, I was a bit reluctant. However, I stayed at this hotel years ago and I could not quite remember all the details. From the photos, I could see that the hotel had been renovated since my last trip, so I decided to give it another try. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations and the hotel felt new and swanky. The price we paid for the stay was far less than expected for this type of hotel. There is an additional hotel fee, but this covers use of the amenities, local and long distance calling and internet service. Well worth the minimal cost. I was glad that I chose this hotel dispite the negative reviews that I read. The location is great, right on Disney property and across the street from Downtown Disney. It's within walking distance, but we are the driving type. There is plenty of self parking, however, it's not at the front door. But when you've been walking the parks all day anyway, what's a few more steps, right?

I am a regular returning customer to the hotel. I love the Spa and like that the rooms have a balcony.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 110Good hotel, but expensive resort fee
This is a very nice hotel, but what they charge for resort fee is expensive. I do not understand why hotels need to charge this resort fee. Sounds like a way to make extra money.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 110nice hotel, great value, bar and pool decor need updating
great value..great location.. Restaurants and bar are poor... needs updating, and more inviting appeal. Restaurants/bar and pool areas do not match inviting and relaxing appeal in the rest of the hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 110Great room and location for the money
Loved the valet parking because the self-parking was a bit of a hike and not many spots available during peak hours. However, at $16 a day it was steep. They also don't tell you about the $14 resort fee when booking room. Though the room was roomer than what get with Disney Resorts and they had a handy mini market. The refrigerator in the room was very useful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 110cutting down on ammenities
We have stayed at this hotel many times and now find that they have cut out complimentary water in the rooms and the Sunday Buffet has been scaled down. Their were no king bed rooms upon arrival as I requested and our room was missing lotion and shower gel, which was quickly rectified.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 110Nice Hotel
For the price of the rooms I thought it was a nice place to stay. The beds were really comfortable and the staff was really nice. If I'm ever in Orlando again I would like to stay there again and would recommend friends and family to stay there as well.
