Great Room with Balcony

The hotel was very nice, but I didn't rate it extremly high because we booked a room with a balcony and they gave us a regular room, when we asked about the balcony they said none were available. I had to take it up to a manager for resolution. The room with the balcony is worth the money, without it, it's just standard but very comfortable.

AWESOME HOTEL!!!

Great hotel, near all of the Disney Parks, shuttles take you to and pick you up from Downtown Disney and long with all of the parks, the spa was phenomenal, great masseuse’s. I will get a massage when I go back. This hotel was great, clean, comfortable, and safe! I will stay there more often on my trips to Orlando.

Great place to stay!!

I have stayed at the Buena Vista Palace twice before and liked both times, this time however blew me away. They have done a total renovation and made the hotel look very upscale with a "South Beach" look. It wasn't so overly done that your couldn't bring your small children. They also have a restaurant that has a Disney character breakfast. We decided to wake up early Sat. morning and drive up to Disney since we live only 2 1/2 hrs away and by the time we got to our hotel it was WAY early for check-in. The receptionist said our room wasn't ready but for an additional $10 she could upgrade our room to a better view and we could go right up. We agreed and when she was finished getting our room assignment she informed me she wasn't going to chg the fee. She was VERY pleasant and accomodating, answering any questions we had. Our room was amazing! We requested a King bed and our room was very spacious with a little balcony that had a sm. table with 2 chairs and faced Epcot. In the room there was a loveseat and ottomen, desk and chair, flat screen TV and a king platform bed with white spa type linens and TONS of feather pillows. The bathroom was a split with only the sink out in the room area and the shower and toilet were in a room with a door. The only complaint if I had any were the shower was very small and I'm not a big person. There is a bus that comes every 1/2hr that takes you to the parks and picks you up. We decided to go park hop during the day, if you do this make sure you find out what your bus # is so you can catch it at another park. We decided to take a Disney bus back to Downtown Disney and walk to the hotel at the end of the night. Downtown Disney is so close and there are great restaurants including McDonalds. I would definatly stay here again, great hotel with Disney transportation, close to I-4 and Downtown Disney a short stroll away.

Wonderful Experience

Our stay was fantastic. the hotel was clean and very relaxing. To sit on the balcony and enjoy the view was well worth the trip. The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. I will stay there again.

Impressed

Great location and accomodations, friendly staff, clean everything, impressed with the decorating, all at a decent price compared to local hotels. Very impressed.

Terrible service

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. At the time of booking we selected an "upgrade" to Disney view and a king size bed. Upon arrival the room that was given to us was a double bed room with a very nasty smell and a parking lot view. When we called the front desk we were told that was all they had until the next day and they sent room service to bring air freshener. The smell was to bad so we made another call, at which point we were transferred to another room with the same parking lot view. They claim is a Disney view because Epcot center is there. Very far anyhow. The view offered on thir website as an upgrade is Downtown Disney. They were not able to accomodate us in the room we paid for. I tried to order strawberries to our room before arrival, but after being transferred to three different departments and being disconnected, they were unable to accomodate our request as well. Overall the service is terrible as when you try to approach their front desk they seem careless and unwilling to cooperate or even offer an apology.

Awsome!!!!!

This hotel was great!!! I took my wife to Orlando for a weekend to celebrate her birthday. The gift was a getaway weekend and taking her to Cirque Du Soleil. Must say that this gave me some great brownie points. When my wife saw the hotel she was impressed. She thought I had paid more than what I really did. The hotel was beutifully decorated and the room was clean and excellent. The biggest plus was the fact that Downtown Disney was across the street and since I was taking her to Cirque Du Soleil it was very convenient. Not to mention the great staff that assisted us. Thank you hotels.com for the competitive pricing and thank you to Buena Vista Hotel for a great stay. My wife was very happy and could not stop bragging to her friends about her birthday weekend celebration.

Exceptional Hotel

Great location, easy transportation to all parks, close to Downtown Disney. Grounds are beautiful, Bed, sheets and mattress were all top notch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great for the price!

Room was GREAT! Renovated with new furniture and carpeting, it was big and comfy, way beyond expected considering the price and promotion (4th night free!). Located across the street (walking distance) from Downtown Disney, and close enough to I4. Particularly enjoyed the small convenience store located where the cafe/restaurant is, you can buy fruit, coffee, milk, juice and all sorts of snacks and munchies! We did not use the amenities. Three negatives: Found a cockroach in cafe store late one night (yuk!), walls were NOT soundproof, and room had mild humid musky smell. Still I'd recommend it :)

Large quiet rooms

Rooms great,spa average amd the breakfast buffet is the best in town. Fastfood shop a real rip off $$$$$. B Lothrop, Naples, F

comfortable

The room was adequate, bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Overall satisfactory.

Pool area needs improvement

Pool furniture needs to be preassure washed, backs of some lounge chairs were filthy. Pool patio bar needs upgrading and cleaning.
