Hotel Regencia Colon

we were booked for the regencia colon, instead they moved us to the colon, which was next door. i guess the other hotel was booked. no problems though. the staff was nice and right out the front door was the cathedral. great location for seeing the sites. the metro was only one block away. i enjoyed my stay here.

Great location!

We found our room to be clean and hotel to be in a great location by the cathedral. A good breakfast was offered at 11 euros,but no other amenities.

Great place!! Amazing location!!

This hotel was great, especially for the price. The location is very central to tourist attractions, great food, and great wine!! My only complaint was that it is loud outside-at all hours- when you are trying to sleep!!

Good value, great location

We stayed three nights at the Regencia Colon. The location was great, right off the Cathedral of Barcelona square in Barre Gotic, within walking distance of La Rambla and other sights. It was an excellent value; staff was quite helpful and accommodating. Services were somewhat limited (no food'/drink after breakfast) but it was right next to its sister the Colon hotel, and we could use their internet, bar, restaurant, etc. We did have to go there to get ice for our room. Overall I would recommend this for value and location.

Good Hotel - Great location

We were extremely pleased with this hotel - it was reasonably priced and centrally located down the street from the Cathedtral and right in Barric Gotic. We were able to walk to most sights and La Rambla. Younng Travellors may not like having to wake the dorman up at night to come in and get the key and room service is not 24 hours but aside from that we had no complaints.
