I was pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. I went thinking it would be just another "Hotel by the Airport" kind of a place. I was happy to find out it was anything but. The resturant and bar were friendly, hip, and loaded with tons of happy people. The room was clean and more comfortable then alot of places where I've spent way more money. I actually live in the area, but needed an escape for the evening with my girlfriend. We felt like we had gone on a "real VACATION." We will be going back again in the near future for sure.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 25Mixed Report
The hotel rates itself a little better than it really is. There is no doubt that the hotel is well located for explorations of LA and access to the airport. The hotel has no self-parking but does offer a fixed rate ($20) valet service which is great if you are staying longer term, but uneconomic if you are only having a one night stay. The room was tired and worn out, but the beds were clean and comfortable. The bath was marked and tiles were cracked but a new, excellent shower had been installed. Staff were helpful and courteous as you would expect from Radisson. Altogether a good location, but room a little tired. The airport area isn't a place to be walking around at night, Santa Monica is about half an hour away and offers a much safer place to eat and walk.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 25Needs improvement
the hotel was nice, but the elevators was a bit slow and the parking was horrible, we had to valet for $20 and every time we went out and in we had to wait for the car, which really made you feel guilty about going out when you felt like you wanted to either go somewhere or just get something from the store. Other than the parking the room was cool. but paying $130 total for 1 day of inconvience was not the lick, I rather stay someone where I do not have to valet park, it's parking down the street but you still have to pay $15 for that parking so what the heck, you my dis while pay the $20

I was delightfully surprised to find that the room was very quiet. We were on the 8th floor and had a view of the airport. We could not hear a sound from outside. The sleep # bed was incredible. We ordered room service for breakfast and dinners. The meals were delivered in a timely fashion and were hot. The food was outstanding, better than I expected. My only complaint was that there were no washcloths in the bathroom. The following day we had neither washcloths nor hand towels, luckily we had bath towels. We also didn't care for the pool. It was not located in a convenient area of hotel and there was no hot tub.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 25Hidden Costs and Horrible food
When we showed up at the hotel, we were greeted with a Mandatory Valet Parking fee of $20. We never received notification from hotels.com or the hotel about this cost before arriving for our stay. We decided to stay in for dinner and order room service from the hotel's restaurant. Wrong idea!! I ordered the Salmon Sandwich that was described as having a lemon aioli. There was no aioli, nor was there any seasoning on the fish at all. My partner ordered the chicken pasta which was not as described either. The calamari was rubbery, and the dessert, which was described as a "flourless chocolate cake with cappuccino ice cream", was a store bought brownie that was hard as a rock served with Vanilla ice cream. Nothing we ordered arrived as it was described in the menu. It was Very Expensive and Very Disappointing. We were very dissappointed with our stay and will have to think long and hard about ever staying here again.

I've stayed here twice now and love it. The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly. We slept in a King Bed which was oh so comfy. The room was nice and clean. The view of LAX is spectacular. Its my absolute fav hotel and will stay there every time.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 25It was ALRIGHT, I suppose...
For the amount of money that I paid personally, it wasnt too worth the experience that I had. First off, the parking lot was under construction and thus unusable, I had to walk a ways to get to and from the hotel. Secondly, when I got to the hotel, the hotel manager did not even give me the room that I requested, I was given a a double room, instead of the king that I had reserved and it wasnt until I found something wrong with that room, I was upgraded to the room that I asked for in the first place. The food was bad when I ordered room service.. I just felt like I could have gotten a whole lot more for my buck if I had stayed somewhere else. Yes, it was a nice hotel, but it is a bit overprice in my opinion.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 25Does Not Live Up To The Radisson Name
The first night I was there I got a room with a sleep number bed that didn't work. It was hard as a rock and I woke up every 30-45 minutes. The heat/AC didn't work either. The vent in the bathroom kept falling out of the wall. On top of that, no one told me that wifi was only available 3 floors, none of which I was on. The staff was incredibly nice and accomodating and moved me quickly the next morning. The new rooms heat/AC didn't work either. I never could get the wifi to work in my room but was able to leech off of another rooms free wifi thankfully. I was told an engineer would come up to check it out but no one ever did. The sleep number beds were constantly resetting themselves. It would be set at 40 one minute and then reset itself to 80, five minutes later. That was if I could even get it to go down to 40 to begin with. Sometimes it just wouldn't go down. The daily valet parking fee of $20 is a bit ridiculous especially when they have a sign that says to be patient because it could take 15-20 minutes to retrieve your car. 15-20 minutes is a bit excessive. All the staff was incredibly nice and accomodating except for one woman at the valet stand. I lost my claim ticket and she got snotty saying that I should really learn to be more responsible.
