Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 40More than is Expected
This was our first visit to the Hawaiian Islands. We chose Hilton because of previous experiences with the chain. This Resort was absolutely enjoyable, we spent a lot of time touring the island but also loved coming home to the resort and sitting on our balcony watching the ocean views from our room. There is a lot of walking involved and it is described as a Village resort, so plan by putting on your walking shoes when enjoying this expansive village. The 90 shops let us browse and buy at ease, no pressure. We ate at the 4 Diamond restaurant, "The Bali" and what a delicious meal and exquisite service, plus that fantastic view of the ocean. We stayed for 7 nights which included the hotel's luau. It was an evening of entertainment and wonderful buffet style food. Friday night the resort puts on a very nice fireworks display over the ocean, we sat on our balcony and saw every sparkle. Living in Arizona we are use to low humidity, so it did take us a day or two to get a custom to feeling damp, but not uncomfortable with temps in the high 80s. We will return and next time bring our children and grandchildren with us.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 40outstanding hotel
This hotel had everything that you could need - great views, great beach, comfortable beds, and the price was very reasonable. It's a small village within itself - lots of stores right on the property, including a reasonably priced convenience store. It's also within walking distance of many great restaurants. Would recommend for couples as well as families.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 40Good hotel for families; not so much for those who left their kids at home
My husband and I took a much-needed vacation without the kids; only to discover that the hotel was FULL of kids! It wasn't a problem, it just made us miss ours. If you're vacationing with family, this is a great hotel. If you're looking to get away for a bit, it might not be your best choice.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 40Dream come true
we used hotels.com to book the hilton hawaiian village diamond head tower for our honeymoon. it was such a great hotel the service was excellent the view was beautiful and right on the ocean. we actually got lost walking around on our 2nd night there and christy from the hotel stayed on the phone with us and guided us step by step in. the staff was very helpful in telling us what kind of events to check out and how to book them. i would highly reccomend using hotels.com to book this hotel and we hope to use it again soon!

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 40Great location near Waikiki
This was a second trip to Hawaii. My wife and I were looking for location away from Waikiki but not to far so that we need to rent a car to get around. All I have to say about this place is..Location Location Location.... Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is located bit away from the main Waikiki beach but close enough to walk to. Also there were bus routes near by that took us all over th place such as Diamond head crater, Hanauma bay, and sealife park. Also it is a popular location for local tour company (like Island hopping and Polynesian Cultural center) So we litarally got picked up from our lobby to our destination. They had live music playing evey night (good selection of music as well, not just Hawaiian folk songs), and firworks by the beach on friday evening. I believe it was well worth the cost and will stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 40Excellent location and Comfortable bed
We stayed two nights prior to setting sail on a cruise ship. The hotel provides everything you need. Our room was not ready so the upgraded us to a small suite overlooking the ocean. Beautiful! The hotel location was perfect and it was on the local bus line. For a $2.00 bus fare we traveled to main attractions, Pearl Harbor, China Town and Punch Bowl Cemetery. Ask for a transfer. The bed was one of the most comfortable. The restaurants are very nice with a price tag to match. But the hotel is located within walking distance to lower priced restaurants.
