they had closed a sink drain because it leaked

Repairing the sink drain would be the correct action. The front desk made a point of learning our preferences and trying to accomodate them. They made a good recommendation of a restaurant serving mediteranian cuisine.

good hotel

for the money paid it is very good hotel, located right off the freeway.

Price great, location very close to Universal and Hollywood and not to far from Six Flags, comfy. I was happy with our stay.

Very Nice Hotel

The front desk attendants were very friendly, gave touristy ideas without looking down at me. We had the option of upper floor or lower floor. Plenty of FREE parking (a big deal if you have been to a big city before). The room was very nice and clean. The A/C worked beautifully, we even had to turn it down during the night. We thought the area around the hotel was not that nice, but then again all of LA seemed kind of rummy to us.

Great hotel and price

The hotel was clean and spacious. It looks like it's recently been remodeled and redecorated. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in LA area.

Nice, clean and convenient

The room was very clean and well maintained, staff was very friendly, convenient location. Will definately stay at this hotel again.

Pool and Spa Great

For a "city hotel", we were pleasantly surprised by the condition of spa and pool. We had to look around for the spa which was tucked away in another area from pool--but when we used both we were the only ones there. Staff might have told us where to find facilities. Rooms were spacious and had two sinks which made showering and dressing easier.
