misrepresented hotel

hotel was very clean, courteous employees and overall ok for the price. negative side clearly stated free breakfast buffet on all websites not a continental breakfast but a free breakfast buffet,and of a three day stay only monday 27 july 09 was breakfast available .tues 28 july 09 a order from corporate discontinued available breakfast except for room serv. paid breakfast orders. no breakfast offered wed.29 july 09 except for room serv. only . management appologized and was very courteous but corp. did not feal any reimbursment was due .non registered guest were required to pay 10 dollars per person plus tax but breakfast for registered guest was included in the daily package rate . will i stay with ramada again ? absolutely not ! hotels .com is an excellent source if companies they represent deliver what they offer

Great Room for the money

After driving all night, I entered the hotel and was greeted by the elderly man, hotel service, and he checked me in. Was quiet. Did not give me any additional information as far as breakfast or if they had a complimentary one. No restaurant information nor did he tell me about the pool or gym availability. I don't know, maybe I should have asked, I'm just used to being greeted with a smile and all information given to me as I am signing and giving my credit card and license to the clerks. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and hotel itself was very nice.

Don't let the outside image fool you!

When I was driving up to the hotel I was already thinking it wasn't going to be a pleasant stay. When I checked in the service was good. The rooms were more then excedeed my expectations. I was very impressed with the comfortable beds and the cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was even a surprise. Had eggs, bacon, and you were able to make your own waffles. And there was plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment around to experience. I know I will be going back again!

Nice Place to Stay

The hotel was very nice. Pool clean and hot tub were well maintenanced and area surrounding it was clean and comfortable. I was especially impressed with the full free daily breakfast provided with the reservation. I will certainly book here again.

Great room for the money

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years while in the Phoenix area. I always stay in the remodeled room and they are very nice and comfortable. I did however notice on this last visit a cockroach in the hallway. Not a pleasant thing to see. My only big complaint would be that they charged me $235.00 for a pet fee and I did not have a pet, don't even own a pet. I was not able to speak to a manager at the time and was assured that the charge would be removed. I have not received my credit card statement yet so not sure if this has been doen.

Outstanding Hotel

This hotel provides clean, neat and spacious rooms. The hotel staff were professional and courteous, and the breakfast was just the best. The hotel is located close to a major highway which allows for quick access to downtown and neighboring towns. I would highly recommend this hotel based on price, service, atmosphere and convenience.

Average hotel, great breakfast

Front desk and other staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby and common areas were nice, but the room was very outdated with old furnishings, linens and decorations. Great breakfast, but staff kept running away with drink and food items prior to 10am close!

Chicago family visit w/children

There wa nothing to do close to the hotel. It is not as close to the Metro Mall as I had thought. Not walking distance. The hotel does not have any transportation to airport or anything else. Also cannot reccomend anything to visitors as part of the hotel information. I believe this is for strictly business not leasure.. Also not family friendly, nothing for children. Breakfast was ok.

How Uppity Are You?

There were quite a few negative reviews on this hotel, but really, unless you're expecting five star experience for a 2-3 star prices, it was a good value for the money. Nothing was perfect, but everything was better than I expected it to be with the exception of the mattresses. I like cushy ones, and these weren't.. BUT, my husband loved them. The neighborhood is not glamorous, but I never felt unsafe, and I was quite pleased with the service we personally received at every level.
