Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 9Great room for the money
We came into Chicago to see a show and did not want to spend alot on a room that we would spend very little time in. It was perfect for our needs. The hotel offers parking that is close. The red line train is also right there, a great way to get around the city. The hotel staff is very helpful. The unexpected thing was that staying in China town, you feel like you are in China, very cool.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 9Excellent for the price
Contrary to other reviews I have read, the hotel was extremely clean, very accomodating, and an excellent deal. It was literally a one minute walk to the red line, which is only two-four stops away from downtown, depending on where you want to go. It only takes about 10 minutes. The neighborhood felt very safe (I would highly reccomend going for dinner one night to "Three Happiness Restaurant", which is right down the street), and the place is overall just a lovely, funky experience. The only complaints I had were: A) I happen to like a very firm mattress, but the mattress in our room was hard even by my standards, B) There were only about 7 channels on the TV and over half of them were in Chinese or Spanish, and C) The convenience of having computers available in the lobby was somewhat diminished by the fact that the internet service was INCREDIBLY slow. However, these are relatively trivial problems when compared with the great deal we got on the price and location. The room is "small," as people have pointed out, but it's a hotel for a few days, for christ's sake, not a condo to rent. It was plenty big enough to keep your luggage in, sleep in, shower in, and.... you know. The matress was starting to bug me by our last night (we stayed five nights), but the lack of TV and internet really made almost no difference to the quality of our stay. I would very highly reccomend this place to people on a budget who are looking for a place with character to stay for a few days while in Chicago.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 9Great room for the money
This hotel is located near to Down Town and other attraction. This was the cheapest hotel I found in this area. The only bad thing I found there was that room was having 2 seperate twin beds...and I didn't noticed it during internet booking. If you are planning to visit there with your wife then take this in consideration. This area is surrounded with many chinese food restuarents. This hotel is located in china bazar there. Over all satisfication is OK.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 9The Smallest Rooms Ever!
The room that we had was smaller than a shoebox! My girlfriend and I couldn't even fit on a queen size bed...I hit my head on the ceiling in the showers it was soo small. Do not go to this place unless you are extremely short!

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 9Good for the money
Don't expect anything great. I love the area it is in. You can walk to the red line. I would stay there again, but not for a romantic getaway. Rooms are small but comfy. If you plan on doing a lot of sight seeing you don't need a fancy room anyway. Visit the Won Kow resteraunt down the street if you choose this as your hotel.
