Noisy; no air conditioning (HOT); No personel to help

I can't believe how disappointed I was with this hotel! I have never had a worse experience. First of all, when we got there at check-in time there was a long line of people waiting to check-in and there was nobody at the front desk. Finally after almost an hour we were checked into our room. Unfortunately, when we got there we realized that we could hear every little thing that was going on upstairs. We could even have our television on mute and still hear everything coming out of the neighbors TV. Also, the hot water was gone after 5 minutes of taking a shower. Worst of all, as we were trying to go to bed it had gotten so hot in the room after a hot summer day, we tried everything to get some cool air going through the room. We called the emergency number they give you if you need any help at night, and he quite rudely told us that there is no air conditioning in this hotel and basically that we would have to deal with it. We had to sleep with the window open which is unsafe and only added to the insane amount of noise in this hotel. I would have to say never go to this place! We probably would have been more comfortable staying in a tent on the side of the road!

An older complex

The Carriage House condominium is an older complex, and the rooms are very plain. Staff was nice, facilities were limited. The main complaint with the room was the temperature, the room was hot, partly due to the weather, but also due to the construction of the hotel and the lack of ventilation of the water heater in the room. The only way to cool the room down was to open windows. King bed was comfortable, but sofa sleeper was not.

Good for the Money

I was a little hesitant on booking this room because of the previous reviews. We checked in around 10 pm. I called beforehand to see how to do the after hours check in. Everything went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

More Accomodating than Expected, Convenient Location

Very willing to accommodate us to a room with a larger bed. Convenient location to the Park City Resort at an affordable price.

OK for the money.

Hotel was OK for the price. Not as close to the ski slopes as I thought. Near bus route. A few places to eat near by. Had a one bedroom that was the smallest one bedroom I ever had but was fine for two or three people. No extra blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. Heater in bedroom was noisey, on, off all night drove me nuts.

Very Accomidating

Overall we were pleased with the size and value of our room. Be aware though that these condos are each privately owned and some of them may not have air conditioning. Our room did not, but the evenings and nights are very cool.

Nice place for the price

Not a luxurious place, but you can get very comfortable there, esp. if you are staying a week or more. Lots of storage space, FULL kitchen (the best part!) so you can eat some meals there, which is really good especially if you have kids. Nice that the bedroom is separate from living area, so kids can sleep in living area on sofa bed. The heated swimming pool is a great activity for kids & adults too. Good location right in Park City, great price during off-season (early April, but there was still some snow for skiing, etc).
