It was Clean

That's about all I can say about this room. It's actually one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in and I was extremely surprised people actually rated it a 3 star place...they must have some low expectations. The headboard was falling off of one of the beds, the carpet was gray, industrial berber and looked like it had been thrown down due to renovations (let's hope so). There was one square of extra padding in the middle of the room under the carpet and someone had put an iron down right on the carpet and left a huge burn. The matress was about 100 years old and very springy (I could actually feel the springs). I also had to go to the lobby to use the wireless internet. It was very clean and the staff was very nice but that alone was not worth the money.

Needs Improvement

The Service and people were nice. The hotel needs work. The building looks old. ocean view is excellent. The parking is across the street (3 blocks).

Buisness yes; Family No

The location of the hotel is prime and it was fine for me on buisness, the club was cool, they had Karaoke and the burger was good; drinks were expensive but the food was reasonably priced. All the rooms are oceanfront so that was a plus but the condition of the room on appearance was okay, upon closer inspection the beds were in terrible condition you could feel the springs and they were collapsed, the room was musty and humid, bathroom had a HUGE mold issue on the shower ceiling, the balcony was filthy. Me being a guy, I have lived in worse for the price it was fine, a bed and a shower and a t.v. I was set. But if I was on vacation with the wife no way. Being it's the 21st century they need to get with it, the only internet access they have is in the lobby in a 6 by 6 foot area and that is very un reliable.

Nasty Hotel

Photos on line is deceiving!!When I check in I already had a bad feeling a made a bad choice. The room was disgusting. Trash was under the bed, apparently they did not clean the room well. Bathroom, well, no words to describe this. put it this way, I felt like being in a public bathroom. Overall, I hated this place and thank God it was only 1 night for business. Do not stay here. You'll thank me for this. Also, you have to park your car 3 blocks away from the hotel cause there is no parking at all on the hotel premises.

Needs Improvement

patio door would not close all the way, big draft coming through it. Rain was leaking through the windows in the hallways. Very cold in the hall ways. Customer Service at the front desk was not very friendly.

How I really feel about the stay @ the Atlantic

I came in and was served with a hello and smile immediatily, no problems with my resevations or check out. The hotel needs a few updates but the rooms were clean and warm, I was there in the winter. The lobby was clean, and the service was excellent, any questions or problems the staff was more than willing to help you out as long as you were respectful and not abusive. Bathrooms were clean and stocked only thing i saw as a negative was whoever cleaned the room didnt clean under the beds very well cause i found smones dog toy and sm trash there and in the bathroom they forgot to restock the kleenex dispenser, which they gladly gave me at the desk when i requested it. Also, parking is not on the complex but across the street but i had no problems with anyone bothering my car or anything. Overall it i had a very good experience there and would recommend it to anyone as long as you are not a overly picky person and want to save a little money while staying on the beach. By the way you do get a balcony off your room so you can see the sunset on the ocean, great view!

Good Stay

It was out of season so the hotel was virtually vacant. However, all services were good. Staff was great.
