Good Nite Inn Sylmar

ROACH ALERT

We stayed in this establishment for 5 days...it is located right off the freeway and only 15 min from universal city...that was great! It wasnt until the morning of the day of check out that we became dissatisfied...my husband was laying in bed when he spotted a roach on the bed...needless to say we packed up and got outta there.

disgusting

The room condition was so bad that I drove 6 hours home not to have to stay at a hotel after that. The bathtub was stained yellow like it had not been cleaned in over a month, the bathroom floor was stained by god knows what. The beds looked like someone had already stayed in them, there was no remote for the TV the "non-smoking room" smelled like smoke. Another guest at the hotel said that he had been there all week and saw people with the same problem come in and leave. The hotel is completely sub-standard and I would never recommend it to anyone else.

great room for the money

The location was great,near to mac donalds and dennys,close to freeway and not to far from a lot of stores.

Very noisy

Very noisy hotel, it's not possible to get rest at this place. Hotel is very old and needs an improvement. Breakfest is very basic (muffins, danish, coffee, tea, OJ). WiFi is not free, $4 per day.

cheap and needs some updating

Not to say that it was horrible but the bathroom was old and dingy, I was glad we were only stayiing 1 night beause I didnt want to shower there, the bathroomwas pretty bad. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, but if you are just staying 1 night you just cant beat the price.

You Get What You Pay For, and thats FINE!

The price was excellent and you get what you pay for and that's a good thing. Sure you can spend a couple hundred dollars a night for a room, but why? This hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and the location was perfect for our family plans in the area. The pool was clean, the jacuzzi was clean the guests were friendly. I have stayed here before and will stay at this hotel again.

O.K. Hotel

For the price you pay it's an O.K. hotel. Didn't have hot water the first night, but they got it fixed by our 2nd night. I have stayed there before, and would probably stay there again, only because it's a cheap place to stay.

Good Night Inn

I got a great price and the hotel was conveniently located near Six Flags. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel or the price. The staff were friendly I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Needs Improvement

Actually, you get what you pay for. The rooms were quite dark, the lights inside the rooms were dim. The night staff were not friendly. They charge extra for a double bed vs. a single full. The rooms were very small and offered no amenities. On the bright side, it was located close to our destination.

Outstanding value

Conveniently located within 13 miles of Six Flags Magic Mountain without the resort price. The room was spacious enough, very clean, and had a "new" feel to it. The staff was helpful and friendly. Walking distance to a Denny's and McDonalds if you have kids. Only draw back was a brochure stating "free Internet" and there was a $4 charge. Highly recommended

Good room for the price.

For the price it was good. The location was perfect for what I wanted. I especially liked the fact that it was near the freeway. The room was okay nothing extravigant, but met my needs. My only complaint would of the carpet. It was really dirty and had stains on it.
