You get what you pay for!

The rate on this place was really low, and the hotel really does need an update, but we couldn't beat the price and the location is great. Close to Six Flaggs, Universal Studios and Hollywood. When we were checking out, we noticed there was some work being done to the rooms on the 1st floor to give the rooms a fresh look. We had a room that faced the freeway (I-5) so it was a bit noisy, but with the fan going, it was barely noticable. The staff in the office was helpful and the rooms were kept clean. It isn't a palace, but if you are just looking for a place to stay, with a central location outside of the city then this is a good choice.

Horrible Nite In Sylmar

Hotel was a ran down shack..... Gas stations and food attractions make it look appealing but amongst check in noticed burn marks thru - out the room..... holes in the cover and matress.... molded and mildew smells.... rust and filth in the tub only to be moved to a room with equal or less value amongst presentation and other things.... go here you midus well take your money and invet it in making your car cozy enough for a good nights sleep.... At the least you will feel more at home.... THANK YOU!

smelt like smoke even though non smoking room their were roaches in the bathroom Bring your own sheets!

Trashy Hotel

The Rooms were total disaster wit holes in the bath room the sinks dont drain. Freeway next to it is verry loud .food places next to it like restaurants are verry crappy and in ghetto location. Swimming pool is dirty you could not see the bottom of the pool. jacuzzi is full of little children both nights we stayed. never again will I stay there

not sure

we used it to stay overnight, and weren't there except after 11pm both nights we stayed, we woke up and left... They cleaned it for us, the small shampoo they left us was open already, but we expected something like this and we brought our own.

It's really worth the money!!

its a nice small inn, the staffs are friendly, great room for the money. can't complaint! the best!

dirty, bad maid sevice

The first night we got there, our room was pretty dirty. There was hair in the bath tub and little hairs all over the sink counter from where someone had been shaving. We did not have a table in our room as the picture showed, and we only had one chair. The second day, our room was very quickly cleaned by the maid and we didnt recieve a comforter which made for a chilly night. The third day our room was not cleaned at all. I went down to the office to get a comforter because I didnt want a night like the last, and the staff was very nice and gave me one. the fourth day we left and came back late once again ready to go to sleep, and once again, the room was not cleaned. when it was finally cleaned on the fith day, it wasnt cleaned well at all. the location of this hotel was about the only good thing.

Great room for the money

good location close to restaurants and good price.

Not Good

The service at this hotel was very bad. We arrived at 3:30 pm and our room was supposed to be ready for us by 2:00pm. We booked it 2 days in advance and they still didn't have the room ready. So then after we had specified a no smoking room they put us in one. It took them an hour and a half to give us the proper room we booked originaly despite the fact that we told them we had a schedule to keep. Even though they said they didn't have any rooms available they actually did because I had an hour and a half to walk around I saw plenty of non smoking rooms just sitting there waiting to be used. I was very dissapointed with this hotel and I will never stay there again.
