Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 19Very Good/Just what I expected Hotel
I was completely satisfied with my stay at the Plaza Orchid. The room was clean, comfortable and interesting. The hallways was lovely, the view from my room was looking out across the beach and Mediterranean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think it was a good value for the price.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 19Tel Aviv Orchid
Great location on the Tel Aviv beach. Not too convenient to train stations, but several good restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel has two towers, the one in front with full beach view and balcony, the one in back with sideways partial ocean view from upper floors. Breakfast is overpriced and unsatisfying to non-kosher diners. The staff was helpful with booking tours which had hotel pickup. Free internet and bicycle use.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 19Mostly Good, Some Flaws
So firstly, remember that Israel is expensive everywhere for Americans, that Tel Aviv is even more expensive, and to be on the beach, well, that's worth quite a bit. Hence the price was a little higher than I would have liked to pay, but the location was great. My room was on the smaller side, but well decorated and comfortable. The view was of the beach, which was also nice. The bathroom was acceptable, but the shower would spill water all over the bathroom floor, so it was always a bit messy and wet in there. Services there were excellent though, with good food and free internet, and friendly staff. The pool was small but nice, and there wasn't enough pool chairs for the busy traffic there, but again, the beach was literally across the small street, so not a big deal. Overall, I was very happy with the hotel, not so much with the bathroom or the size-to-price ratio, but happy no less.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 19a convenient and pleasant stay
Located on the southern end of the hip Tel Aviv beachfront boardwalk, you are close to everything but it's not too loud. Stumble home from our favorite Irish pub, Molly Blooms, across the street. Instead of the in-hotel breakfast we went to Cafe Masada downstairs for delicious sea-view dining. Free parking was a *huge* bonus in this neighborhood but watch out for their limited # of spaces, especially if returning late in evening. The room was very comfortable; they had a spare electronics transformer for us when we needed it to do unexpected computer work.
