Exceeded expectations

We loved everything about this hotel. It is very nice and the staff is extremely friendly. If I have to find anything I didn't like it was the fact that our room was facing the free way and the noise from it could clearly be heard inside the room. Next time I will make sure to request a room on the other side. I will definately recommend this hotel. Sonja Marshall

Good stay

The hotel looks very nice. The breakfast was great had variety of cereals, bread, fruits, coffee etc... The rooms are clean n it looks great. However, walls were too thin we could hear our neighbors in their rooms n in the hallways. The bathroom was clean but small. Other than that I wouldn't stay here for a vacation getaway bcuz it's in the middle of a couple business buildings but if your just passing by Arizona I would reccomend it.

OK for business

We stayed 2 nights in the Hyatt Place. The rooms are really nice and large (double bed room with pull out queen sofa bed. Nice space and clean room, bathroom etc. This is a great place to stay for business but for a family we will pass next time. The pool is as big as my tub at home. The continental breakfast was dissappointing. It was a COLD breakfast only. If you wanted any HOT items, there was a fee. I think we would have done better at another hotel or resort, but for the average business traveler this was a nice place to stay. Location was good next to the mall and a lot of restaurants and right off the expressway.

I was happy with the entire experience, from the friendly check in rep to the great room, the only down was the room was nonsmoking which I missed

Outstanding Hotel

The hotel was more than what I expected for the price I paid for. Very clean and the hostess were very nice and helpful. I had a great time at this hotel, my kids were delightful to be there.

WOW. What a great surprise

Our family was shocked when we found this great hotel for a great price. The loby was totally stocked with a great FREE breakfast and options to purchase if you couldn't find what you wanted. (They even served Starbucks for free!) The staff was so friendly. The best. The work out room was perfect. We felt totally safe here. The room was amazing. There were 2 queen beds and a pull out couch for lounging around. A huge, flat screen tv that was great for watching movies late at night after a long day of sigh seeing. We climbed "hole in the rock" which the kids LOVED and caught a game at Chase stadium. We were away 18 days and stayed in over 10 hotels. This was our favorite. It is close to the airport too. Stay here. You'll be so glad you did!!!

Very good deal

I've done a lot of traveling for business in my career and have seen the gambit of hotels, motels, and rat traps. I consider this a small but comfortable cross between a standard room (as in a Marriot hotel) and a suite. The room is clean. The pictures diplayed here are accurate. I did not availe myself of the "Contenental breakfast". It consists of a selection of cereals and fresh fruits. There are a few pastries available for purchase. The main desk does sell some food items 24 hours a day. These include pastrie, soft drinks, salads, and sandwiches. The selection is not wide but it is appreciated. The big screen TV does have inputs available for HDMI, VGA, and component video from the desk. So, if you bring your computer and want to watch a DVD, you can bring along a cable and you are set. The television sits in between the suite area and the beds and can be comfortably viewed from either. Standard cable is available. In room movie rentals are available. The ironing board is full sized.... and of course, there is an iron to use with it. The room has a coffee maker with coffee. A hair dryer is also stashed in one of the drawers. The vanity is outside the bathroom. Some prefer it. I do not. I do like lots of space in the bath and I felt a bit cramped. I now must have a fridge for medicines and this room had one that worked. That's all I required of it. There is no freezer space. The air conditioning worked well which is important in the Phoenix area. I was very happy with the room and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. Since we now have family in the near area, I'm sure that this is the hotel we shall return to.

Very good

Love The Place hotels! Very modern, good breakfast. Pool is small, but well kept.
