Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 98Great Value
Although the hotel is a little tattered in some places- it is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quieter than the middle areas of Waikiki beach and it is very accessible to dining and the beach. Overall it is a great value as most people don't spend all that much time in their room when they are in Hawaii!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 98Great room for money
Great location, decent hotel for price right on the corner of the main strip with decent parking across the street in the Zoo lot if you don't want to pay the $28 valet parking.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 98Not at all impressed!
The hotel rooms were very, very small and the hotel in gernal is old. However, the hotel staff was wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 98Comfortable Hotel in Great Location
My sister and I had a poolside room at the Park Shore. The staff was extrememly friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but the early morning vehicle noises can be annoying. You might feel sleep-deprived. Otherwise, the location was great and close to everything, including public transportation.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 98Great location, but needs renovation
Our stay in the hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is right across the street from the beach, and adjacent to the zoo. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room lacked, however, in adequate lighting in the bathroom, and the air-conditioning was weak. My fiance couldn't apply her make-up in the bathroom because the light was a neon yellow. The bathroom also lacked electrical outlets for her hair dryer or hair irons. The hotel did have a wonderful Japanese restaurant in the lobby. My fiance is Japanese and her parents were visiting from Japan. We dined at the Japanese restaurant a few times because it was so authentic, I highly recommend eating there. Over-all our experience was nice. The staff are very courteous and willing to help. I would stay at the hotel in the future, but only if there is some renovation to the bathrooms and air-conditioning in the rooms.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 98"Great location"
The stay at the Park Shore was very enjoyable, the only thing my husband didn't like was the valet service, we didn't use it and still had to pay 20.00 a day for parking and the service we didn't use. (We walked everywhere, due to being so close to Waikiki Beach)

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 98Good value but needs work
The hotel was wonderfully situated (just off Waikiki Beach and right next to the park. The open air entryway was very pleasant and getting to our car when we needed it was easy, albeit not cheap. The room was dark, small and in desparate need off carpeting and at least some paint, as were all the public areas.

Hotel Staff was outstanding! Our stay was excellent, very affordable considering location. Very clean, housekeeping was always working! Rooms are small, but the view from the partial ocean was Awesome! Very comfortable living. Make sure to negotiate an upgrade!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 98Good room for the money
I was staying in Honolulu for only one night and wanted to find an inexpensive hotel that was within walking distance of the beach and shopping. Park Shore fit the bill. I found the hotel a little bit difficult to find because it is actually not right on the street (I can't remember the name..Kalapakua or something like that). Instead, you have to turn left right before the zoo and the Park Shore is on the left. While the hotel is in need of updating, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It was a great value for the money.
