Stay in the tower

When I arrived at the hotel my room was in an outer courtyard, facing on the parking lot. The room felt like a creepy fishbowl. I hated everything about it including the furniture. The man at the desk offered me an upgrade which put me in the 'tower' as opposed to the outer ring. Although I had no view the room was a 100% improvement. I was told that the size was the same, but the room felt bigger. The room and the air felt cleaner and I wasn't afraid to touch things. My colleagues kept their original rooms and, unless they were sleeping, had to come to the lobby to hang out because their rooms were "sleazy". I was actually able to stay in my room and work.

Would stay here again.

The Regal Sun is just across the street from Downtown Disney, a short walk. In addition, there is a free shuttle service to Disney attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms were ordinary, large enough, in need of up-dating. They wouldn't be called glamorous. But, everything worked and was clean. There were two resort-style pools with interesting water features. The lobby was attractive and offered a snack bar for easy eating and other restaurants, I think. The gift shop was well-supplied and welcoming. The concierge gave us great tips on what to do at Downtown Disney. It was a great stay, not expensive, yet it was well-located, comfortable, had place for kids to play and a helpful staff. No need to use the valet parking. Just put the yellow parking tag in the window and go around to the back. Don't unpack until you find out where your room is. Your entry may be at another wing.

Older Hotel recently renovated

Hotel not laid out well. Difficult to find yoiur way around. There are much better hotels in the area.

Location, location, location!

The regal sun is next door to Downtown Disney. It was a pleasure to be there because I was able to walk around a beautiful neighborhood! The hotel was OK. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean. But the enterance of the hotel did not look nice. As you go in, to the right, there is a mini mart that's opened 24/7 (very convienient! but expensive!) and it looks really run down. The hallways didn't look nice either, they were dark and not too very clean. But overall, it was a nice experience!

vERY GOOD LOCATION FOR DISNEY WORLD

If a person wants easy accessibilty to the Orlando parks, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is clean, has good service and is easy to drive in and out of it. I would stay there again.

Great Value

This hotel wasn't your typical business stay, but it did provide a great value. It was very convenient to a number of restaurants, and it provided free internet access.
