Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 112Comfort and Elegance
All staff kind and informative. The room was elegant, comforting and peaceful. Great water pressure for the shower. Incredibly comfortable bed. Very clean. Room just the right size. Definitely going back. Fabulous price for this level hotel in midtown.

I would highly recommend the New York Palace to anyone wanting to visit NY, staying central to shopping, dining and theater. The service and accomodations were excellent and the room spacious and lovely.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 112Good Hotel Poor service
When we arrived with baggage there was no one to assist us with our baggage. However when we struggled our way into the lobby the doorman busy busy engaginging a very attractive young woman in a very short skirt in conversation. after checking in we decided to go out for dinner the doorman outside was too busy shooting the breeze with a truck drive and we had to get our own taxi. The next day we went out early and left the light on for the room to be made up and when we returned at about 2pm the room had still not been made up. we finally called and then had to again go out while they did this.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 112Very Friendly Staff!
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly. I called a day in advance to get an early check in and they informed me I must try on the day of check in. When I arrived it was no problem at all. They gave me a room with an incredible view. Bedding was very nice and cozy and probably one of the best bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends and family and anyone looking for a nice experience in NYC.

The Palace is a classic NY hotel. The staff is incredibly attentive, the rooms were immaculate, and the overall experience excellent. We visit NY 2-3x per year and are always looking for a new "favorite" hotel. We have found ti at the Palace!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 112great service
I arrived very late at night and I felt the noise of the large office building airconditioners might keep me awake, the light sleeper that I am. and I went to the desk after giving it a try and a 1:00 am they moved me to a upgraded room which was not even necessary.. I was most appreciative for the easy move. thank you

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 112Wonderful Hotel in Fantastic Location!
The service at the NY Palace could not have been better. The entire hotel was spotless, and it's in a great, central location. During the summer, on Sundays, Madison Ave (directly out front) is closed down for street vendors to set up shop, which was fun to walk through. Additionally, you are walking distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Station, etc. The only thing we used a taxi for was for dinner on the Upper East Side and to go to Battery Park to get to the Statue of Liberty. I highly recommend this hotel. (Just avoid buying anything from the room service menu - it's ridiculously overpriced even for a luxury hotel in NY. There are a ton of places very nearby to get any sort of meal you need.)
