Very comfortable

I loved the hotel. Comfortable, quiet and spacious rooms. Beautiful lobby. Helpful staff at the door and the desk. My only complaint is that I needed to call room service for ice to be delivered, and once had to wait half an hour just for that. I found room service to be slow -- 45 to 50 minutes once -- considering the hotel is known for its service. And room service carts were not immediately removed from the hallway. Still, considering everything else the hotel offered, these are minor gripes.

I have stayed here many times and at other similar hotels. The service here is top notch in every way. All of the staff is very helpful - from the maids to the bellman and the front desk. I would stay here again in a second.

Great Hotel

My room was very comfortable, with an excellent view of St Patrick's Cathedral below. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice Greetings

I often stay at the New York Palace and love it there. But as the old saying goes it only takes one thing to ruin a stay. Upon checking in the counter guy gave me grief over my reservations. I was told that I didn't make the correct reservations and that they were sold out and that I'd have to take a lesser room. Not a good way to start a stay at a hotel I frequent.

Outstanding Hotel

Fantastic service, large room for New York city it is very rare to have such a spacious room. Breakfast was delicious but very very expensive. I will stay again at the Palace both for the location and the accomodations

A little rushed feeling

the hotel was nice and the history so interesting. I thought for the price it felt a little crowded and rushed. I was very excited to stay here - was not disappointed however I felt it a little cold for what I expected.

A `Wonderful Hotel

This was the best hotel experince we have ever had. The accomodations were perfect, the hotel interior is beautifully appointed. The staff is very courteous and helpful with an answer to any question we had. The location is ideal for whatever you're looking to do in New York. We were looking for a hotel just like this as my husband will be doing working in New York occasionally.

Outstanding Hotel

There is really a difference between a top hotel like this one and all others. Apart from the comfort and decor as well as the generous size of the room, there is terrific service from everyone there including the bellmen, concierge and all of the staff who are geared to make your stay wonderful. And they definitely succeeded. We loved the lobby restaurant with its sophisticated NYC ambience. The restaurants were convenient on a rainy night and were first class as well. AND we got a terrific deal!
