Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 35very nice...
the room was nice, valet parking was complimentary with the package we had (which was a good thing but it was $$) and a buffet breakfast was included in the package. the staff was friendly. overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 35Great Stay, Great Room, Awesome Staff
The room had a great view and was very nicely furnished and spacious. The staff was great from checkin to checkout. Since I stayed for the entire weekend, the cleaning staff made sure to ask me if I needed anything else in my room. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 35It's an "Okay" Hotel.
It was an "okay" hotel, but we'll probably look elsewhere for our next visit. It had a very nice breakfast buffet, and the staff was helpful. However, the parking is expensive ($14 a day). There is no mini-fridge or microwave in the rooms, which seems standard in competing hotels now. The hotel will charge you $15/day to bring a mini-fridge up to your room. Even though the WiFi is free, before you connect to it, you have to fill out a form on their website that you accept charges of $9.99/day for it. The front desk swears they edit this off the bill, but it made us nervous that we had to accept it in the first place. To top it off, we discovered several stains on the duvet cover on our bed. Of course the stained side was faced down, so we didn’t notice them until late at night when we were removing it from the bed. But ew!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 35Great Hotel with Great Central Location
Went to San Diego for a quick Romantic getaway with the Husband. Room was very nice and comfortable. We booked the "Bed and Breakfast" special which included breakfast, free parking, and free wi-fi with our room. It was a great deal and breakfast was on the better side for hotel breakfasts. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is in a great part of San Diego as there are a lot of things within a very short distance of the hotel. :)

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 35Great Hotel
My husband & I was looking for somewhere cheap, beautiful, and convenient, and The Hilton San Diego Mission Valley was all of these and more. It was such a great place lay down at night and relax without worrying about noise and nonsense. The people there are great! I will be using them again in the future! And did i mention the price, unbeatable! All in all, it was great!

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 35Great stay!
My boyfriend and I got this hotel for a quick weekend trip because of a good rate! What a great hotel. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. Oh! We got in Friday Night, and left Sunday and they only charged us one $18 fee for valet parking! Very pleased!! Will definately stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 35Very nice hotel, but neighborhood very commercial
We stayed at the Hilton Mission Valley in March 2009. This is a very nice hotel with upgraded rooms which were very comfortable. Although the hotel is located next to a major freeway, we heard no noise (stayed in even numbered room away from freeway). Rooms were very comfortable. Staff very helpful. Bed & pillows were exceptionally comfortable as well. Parking was $14/nite as noted by others. Restaurant was overpriced, however. While this hotel was a great value, the neighborhood is very industrial and commercial. No real place to walk or stroll. Workout room small but well equiped. Great value and would stay here again given the caveats.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 35Hilton Mission Valley
I was very impressed with the hotel itself. The lobby is very beautiful. I loved how the room was set, not like a typical room. The mattress was amazing! I slept so sound, and was not sore in the morning. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that there was no fridge or a hair dryer, which i expected a hotel like this to have. But overall it was a good stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 35Great hotel, great location! Within minutes to key attractions.
THIS IS A VERY NICE PROPERTY AND ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND. IT IS CLOSE TO ALL KEY ATTRACTIONS IN THE GREATER SAN DIEGO AREA AND ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 35Pleasant Hotel
The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, a lot of variety. There is no view except the highway. And, the $14 parking fee seemed unreasonable since there were no other business establishments that would infringe on their parking structure.
