Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 12Nice Facility
This is a very nice hotel with a nice facility and great location. Our room was very small, with barely enough room to walk around the bed. There were 3 of us with a kingsize bed, sleeper sofa, and full kitchen. Normally this would be more then adequate, however, with the sleeper sofa open, you could not use the kitchen as none of the cabinets would open, neither would the refrigerator, and you could not easily walk past the extended sleeper sofa to exit the room. It was fine for one night, but I would not want to spend an extended amount of time there. In walking through the facility, I can see that they must have larger rooms as well, I just wish I had known how big this room was before arriving. One more point, if you are staying in the summer, the hotel is arranged in a sort of courtyard around the swimming pool and the noise from the pool is very loud (beginning with screaming children as early as 8am) so don't plan on sleeping in.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 12Great room for the money
All in all, great room for the money, but not happy with check in. After a 3 hour delayed flight, didn't check in until 11:30pm for a nonsmoking two bedroom . The suite had an overpowering cigarette smell the instant we walked in giving us headaches and nausea. After being on hold for 20 minutes, then going to the front desk, then checking out another suite (thankfully before lugging all our luggage and food) since the second bedroom wasn't available, then back to our initial room to check on my mom and two children, then back to the front desk, then to another floor to check out another room - again not available - apparently the front desk computer was not working, we were told they didn't have anything. It is now 2:00am and we are exhausted - I said just give us two separate rooms and we'll figure out in the morning. The following morning they said housekeeping will clean the suite - not acceptable - the smoke was in everything - walls, furniture, carpet. So they said we'll have to remain separate. Again, not acceptable, I booked this hotel for the 2 bedroom suite for a vacation w/my mom and kids. After another 2 hours in the morning and speaking with the manager, they finally found us a 2 bedroom suite. Not sure why we had to go through all the commotion and hassle and ruined our first day - we were all still very tired from the night before and spending the whole morning of finding another room.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 12"Mom, this is PARADISE!"
My 10yr old daughter would have loved to spend our whole 2 week vacation in this one hotel. The Westgate is typically a time share property but we booked a normal room through Hotels.com. The room was incredible!!! It was extremely nice, well decorated, very new looking, very clean and well taken care of. The appliances, the furniture, everything was very nice. We luv'd the room, the HUGE pool (1/2 indoor 1/2 outdoor), 2 hot tubs, game room, shops and eateries on site, basketball courts, tennis court, activities all the time for kids and adults, ping pong tables and the free shuttle that ran us wherever we wanted to go in Park City. This is an absolute MUST go back! Definitely worth it!!!

We were very pleased with the overall quality of the hotel. The amenities were nice, and the room was first rate.

We have nothing negative to say about Westgate. Our room looked brand new. The kitchen had full-size stainless appliances, granite countertops and was completely stocked with dishes and utensils. Other amenities included a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, flat screen TVs in the livingroom and bedroom and a washer/dryer. Our skis were delivered to and picked up from the gondola area each day. Service was exceptional in every area. We will choose this hotel when we go to Park City again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 12Great Ski Hotel/Resort
Stayed here with my two teenage boys. Had a wonderful time. It was great valeting our skis. They brought them out to the slopes in the morning and we dropped them off at the base when we were done for the day, My boys loved the indoor/outdoor pool, fitness and game rooms. Variety of restaurants and mini food mart. The property was pretty much self contained. Looking forward to returning again.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 12Disappointing Stay
While the accommodations at the Westgate are very nice, it was the incidentals that really fell short at this hotel. The front desk was less than accommodating when it came to parking our vehicle, which would not fit into the cramped parking garage, The clerk told us to park our SUV and camping trailer at the bottom of the hill and take the lift up to the hotel. She failed to mention that the lift was closed after 7 pm and still not operating when we left the next morning at 10 am. Next, the concierge was very unclear about where to find our room, after asking for directions a couple of time, we decided to try and find it on our own. There was nothing open as far as shops in the vicinity of the hotel. When I asked guest services for a place to buy laundry soap, he indicted I would have to go into Park City. (Never mind that the next day I noticed complimentary laundry soap on the maid's cart.) The last straw was the fact that we could hear the high school girls' softball team next door. They weren't being overly loud, but, due to poor building quality, their voices and music were clearly audible.
