Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 17Very good hotel
The rate was fair and the room was great. There was parking in a gated garage which you needed a room keycard to enter. You needed your key again to get into your building and then naturally at the door of the room, so it was very secure. The parking was a little tight once we got in, so sometimes I had a bit of a walk from the car. The negatives were simply check out and room service. Checkout is at ten. We were leaving on a Sunday (not at all a peak day for check-ins, especially not at a ski resort in the middle of summer) and so we asked for a late check-out. They begrudgingly granted us our request benevolently giving us until 10h30. That is an EARLY check-out anywhere else. That didn't stop the maid from coming in while I was in the shower to see if we were still there. The naked man should've given her a clue. When you leave they ask you to take the garbage out yourself and wash all the dishes. I would've thought the shower jumping maid could've handled that. I'm not sure what she even wanted to do since many of the cleaning responsibilities were supposedly on us. Room service is really expensive even for room service. Plus there's a $20 minimum with a cup of fruit costing $19, so essentially you have to spend $40 just to get anything. Oh, and it closes at like 8 or 9, there's no food later in the day. Other than the creepy security guard looking in our windows (a lovely anniversary treat) the hotel was truly comfortable. Regardless of all the stupid quirks of this hotel I would probably go back. I can't say enough about the quality of the room, the kitchen, the bathroom, the shower, the jacuzzi in the bedroom, and the security guard and maid that like to get an eye full. Good value, for us and for them.

I was absolutely amazed and impressed with Westgate. If I were to change anything at all, it would only be to have a later check out time.

I have read other reviews concerned about parking and thickness of walls. We stayed in one room of the Presidential suite. All around the hotel was very nice and the staff helpful. However, we did have little contact with the staff. One night we did get lost and our keys wouldn't open the outer doors of the hotel. The signage in the parking garage could be more helpful. We figured out the best way to get back to the room from the garage and it was no big deal after that. Remember the hotel is new and they still have some little issues. Again, over all the stay was great and the hotel is very nice.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 17Great room for the money
The room was exceptionally clean. Everything was very luxurious. The resort was beautiful and fun to walk around. The only negative was that the room was a little small.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 17hotel great service questionable
We got there and our room wasn't ready we went after 3pm and it still wasn't ready so the lady took our name and cell number and said she would call. We went to Smiths for some groceries and went back in an hour and went to a man and he said your room has been ready for half an hour and so by the time we got parked and to our room the pizza hut and the other place were closed so we went to the grill it was good but expensive. We then got locked out of our room and went through 3 sets of keys until a maintence man let us in.

What an incredible find! I can't imagine the price on this place durring the winter. The room was wonderful and comfortable. The views were amazing! Restaurant on site as well as easy access to Park City. Only a few minute drive. I would absolutely recomend this hotel to friends and family.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 17Pretty good for the money
Girlfriend and I went up for the 24th of July Utah holiday. When we arrived it seemed to pain the front desk to have to check us in, then the bellman seemed less than thrilled to tell us where to park and how to get to our room. The room was nice enough, very nice bathroom. Pool was decent, and if you have kids they have tons of daily activities for them to do. Overall for the great rate I received it was pretty good.

There is some construction going on but I couldn't hear any noise from it. It was a great place to stay for a weekend get-away with my husband.

My husband and I decded to stay here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The room was beautiful. The only thing I had a problem with was being able to hear everything that went on in the room next to us.
