I'm new to the whole "upscale" hotel thing, I've grown up staying in dingy motels and motor inns. This hotel had a great style, clean, amazing location right next to the University of Washington campus, and a quick drive to downtown. Our room was large and very, very comfortable and a great view. The only thing that i would quibble about is that the bathroom is quite compact and the tub was a bit plugged up. Other than that it was great. Also it's an $8/night parking pass when I was there that wasn't quite detailed in the purchase.

Make sure you request a view of the city. $6 a night for parking is not bad but should have been mentioned before hand.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a drainage problem in the shower, ankle deep in water. The rooms could use more storage space for clothing and the lighting in the bathroom needs to be improved. On the plus side, the views are stunning and the hotel is very easy to get to. If you're looking for something close to the UW campus this is the place! All of the staff were very friendly. The district jazz lounge....not so great.
