Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 37Nice hotel, good location
Hotel Deca is right off the strip in the University district of Seattle. It's walking distance from the school, restaurants, shops, etc. The rooms are on the small side, but clean, well-decorated and comfortable. My only complaint is that I couldn't find plugs for my laptop and phone - I had to unplug a lamp to charge my gear.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The outside may be a little misleading since it's not very exciting, but once you walk in, you quickly realize how trendy and nice the hotel is. There is a nearby park that is gorgeous and perfect for a nice run.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 37Great Seattle lodging
A very upscale renovation of an interesting old hotel in the middle of university of washington student shopping action. Great room with 7th floor view of seattle skyline including space needle. The stsff was pleasant & helpful. Price was very reasonable for the value. Will book again.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 37Nice modern hotel
The hotel Deca is nice, modern, and comfortable. There is a good lobby area. I only ever dealt with the night-time person at the reception desk, who was very nice. There was some air conditioning noise near my room on the 4th floor (the machines appear to be on the 2nd floor or so) that was pretty annoying. But most of the time, you won't need A/C in Seattle. The location is good if you want to go to UW. There is a good Thai place on 45th just a block down.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 37Friendly, Convenient & Comfortable
I recently stayed 5 nights at the Hotel Deca as I was in town to see if I could relocate from NYC for grad school. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and informative. Restaurant has delicious affordable options and two delightful bartenders to answer any Seattle questions! Bed was very comfortable and the overall experience was a positive one. Noble House has great properties and this is one of them. Neighborhood not great, but if you're in town for something at UW, this is the place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 37Great location for outside the city proper
Very nice hotel and well updated. Location is fun - near the university area, so lots to do and walk to in the evenings. Great having a coffee shop attached to the hotel for early am meetings.

While attending Orientation at the University of Washington we stayed at the Hotel Deca and were very pleased with the condition and ambiance of this hotel. It was just a short walk to campus and was very safe and comfortable.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 37Very Nice Hotel
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. We typically try to get rooms closer to downtown but they always seem sold out of late. This is on the campus of Wash U. and is only another 10 minutes further from the airport. Great neighborhood, hotel is very nice, kind of art deco feel, convenient parking, etc. Overall very nice experience.
